SURFACE-LEVEL

LOCATIONDESCRIPTION

Day OffMany character interludes and other day off sequences have not been written yet.
If it says something to the tune of "This route is incomplete, please check back
later," it means no new content is currently available for that sequence.
All recruited characters have at least one character interlude written, unless that character's relationship to you is locked to "hated." NOTE: If you get a
note saying "You've missed the opportunity to spend time with this character," that character is time-locked (i.e. Shery's third day off doesn't make much
sense if you've already started training your squad of recruits, so you have to hang out with her then before that point).
6
Chapter 2Researching Black Sun by yourself or asking Blade to do so.This is where the dark tome from the Equalists' hideout in Chapter 1 can come into play, if you decided to take it (it's not required, though).
7
Chapter 4Dreaming about Caine or Prihine after falling off the cliff as a Diviner.
8
Chapter 5Going with Halek to make camp or going with Ayla to town.
9
Chapter 6Blade's birthday is supposed to go here (but doesn't appear because it isn't written).
10
Chapter 6Visiting the scholars with Tallys, visiting the town guard with Briony, or visiting
the refugees with Ayla in Lockwood.
11
Chapter 6Siccing the palace hounds on the Elementals as a Wild-Mage.The content for this is simply not written and skips awkwardly to the next paragraph, but is still playable and makes sense.
12
Chapter 7Betraying Lavinet to Auberon and Isolde by cutting a deal with them in Chapter 6.This route is currently not filled out due to time constraints, but you can see a brief summary of what's planned for that scene when selecting it.
13
Chapter 7Attending the Ascension Festival. There is some placeholder summary text before allowing you to move on: this will be worked on later since so much branching is involved.
14
Chapter 7Using a Word of Power against Thurl.
15
Chapter 7Breaking out of Thurl's hold and using magic rather than your weapon to attack him.The flavor text for these choices hasn't been written yet, but all will be extremely similar to using a weapon against him.
16
Chapter 8Failing to meet the requirements to be offered a position as Commander.Failing to meet the requirements of being offered the Commander position by Blade has not been written yet; it will simply show a [sorry, this has
not been written yet] placeholder and then move on to the Ascendancy Festival.
17
Chapter 8Using a Word of Power or attempting to undo the simulacrum's spell with magic.Only attempting the trials has been written out so far.
18
Chapter 8.5An additional day off and Lovelace Day are tentatively planned to go here,
before the team deploys to the Elven Quarter.

LOCATIONDESCRIPTIONNOTES
25
Chapter 4Giving up and awaiting rescue after falling off of the cliff. Falling off the cliff (and meeting Mekduk) requires MC to either not be using a lantern, or to be using a lantern and having a physique
of LOWER than 50. Vice-versa, surviving the cliff (and not meeting Mekduk) requires a physique of 50 or higher and to be using a lantern,
which you should buy prior to arriving at the Reach.
26
Chapter 4Using Gree's medallion or robe as a lodestone to escape the cave on your own. This option always ends in failure since it's the wrong answer to the puzzle, and ends in the same branch as giving up and awaiting rescue.
27
Chapter 4Failing to use Gree's ring as a lodestone to escape the cave on your own. To succeed in this check, the MC must have a working lantern, [40 Bright Mind or higher], and [10 Razor Wits or higher] to find Gree's ring in the burial mound.
They will also need to have varying levels of both Health and Physique to hold their breath long enough for the spell to work. Failing will end in
the same branch as giving up and awaiting rescue.
28
Chapter 5Losing the fight to Jarkyth due to being possessed. This branch skips you ahead to the beginning of Chapter 6 rather than ending your game completely.
29
Chapter 5Fighting the wyvern alone, without Briony's help. This choice only becomes available if you actually lost to Nathe, rather than deliberately forfeiting the fight yourself. While this route's content
has not been written, there is a temporary simulator in place that will calculate your stats and output a likely outcome to your fight.
30
Chapter 5Fighting Briony after executing Nathe. This route is only available if you choose to execute or mercy-kill Nathe after defeating him in battle. To do this, you need a Will of Iron stat of
70 or higher. As above, there is a temporary simulator in place that will predict a likely outcome to your fight.
31
Chapter 6Charming or intimidating the nobles at Pendric's birthday party. This route does not end your gameplay, but redirects you to a scene where you either enchant the nobles or disguise yourself as a placeholder
scene.
32
Chapter 6Failing the fight with the Elementals, resulting in Lavinet being kidnapped. This route is currently being rewritten so that Lavinet is not kidnapped, but badly injured as a result of the fight, leading to a heavy drop in the MC's
relationship to her and reputation with the nobles, but keeping the main content of the chapter relatively similar to the other branches.
33
Chapter 7Going straight to Wallmire instead of heeding Mimir's warning about the house.
34
Chapter 7Failing to uncover the true mystery of Wallmire in time.In order to successfully solve the mystery, the player has to have collected at least 6 clues, have a Bright Mind score of 65 or higher, have a Razor
Wits score of 50 or higher, and has to have logically followed the conversational thread leading to the solution. The best way to achieve this is by
exploring every possible conversational path, investigating the shining object in the swamp water, divining as many things as possible (if available),
going to the house before heading back to Wallmire, and not simply trusting Saranae's word regarding what's going on.
35
Chapter 7Failing to catch the intruder and resulting in Saranae getting kidnapped. Succeeding this check currently requires [a Razor Wits stat of 65 or higher AND a relationship stat with the relevant person of 75 or higher], OR
[a Razor Wits stat of 75 or higher AND a Bright Mind stat of 60 or higher], IN ADDITION TO [a Physique stat of 75 or higher] (the strength check
occurs in all cases). As with all stat checks, these numbers are liable to change in the future.
36
Chapter 7Sparing Thurl and promising him clemency. Like the route where Lavinet got kidnapped in Chapter 6, I'm not fully convinced this choice/branch will even stay: I'm not super interested in
writing it and the whole aftermath of trying to talk both the boys and Wallmire into it at the moment, and I'm not sure it's really compelling or
convincing for MC to even want to offer this, so I'm going to think on it. It may have been one of those things that looked better on paper.
So it might be written out in the future, or it might not!
37
Chapter 8Starting Chapter 8 as someone who's been possessed by Quiial. This chapter starts differently if you're possessed, and that route has not been written yet. It will currently end your game here!
