1 | Welcome to the Digital Equity Audit Self-Assessment Tool!
2 | This tool has been created to support teams when using The Learning Accelerator's Digital Equity Guide. This Self-Assessment Tool is intended to foster productive dialogue within leadership teams in an iterative manner. Whether you are just beginning to think about digital equity or have been working on it for years, cycling through this tool will help to clarify vision and strategy, articulate needs, and identify areas for improvement. With your team assembled, as you work through the guide, self-assess to see where you might be on your digital equity journey. You may not be able to address all of these components – and that is OK! These self-assessments will help you to determine where you might need to begin.

4 | 1. Make a copy of this Google Sheet to get your own interactive resource. 2. As you work through the Digital Equity Guide, you will be directed to the three different sections in this tool: Foundations, Practices, and Conditions. 3. In each section, read the descriptions to understand what progress may look like on a continuum from Foundational to Advanced. 4. Select a drop-down option that you think best describes your school or system. 5. As you work with your team, make certain to capture your reactions, thoughts, questions, and reflections.

6 | After you finish working through the entire tool, use the Summary tab as a dashboard to examine your progress. Remember that digital equity is an iterative, ongoing process. Over time, you may create another version of this document and re-assess your progress. The Summary tab can then be useful to gain a holistic picture of how you have made hops, skips, or leaps towards improvements.
