One is blindfolded and the other has a balloon. The player who is not blindfolded hits the balloon to the blindfolded partner and then has to describe to them how to keep hitting the balloon up in the air. The only person who can touch the balloon once the game starts is the blindfolded person. Pair utterly fail at first and it is always a fun time. After a while, some of them get pretty good; this summer I had a pair who got over 10 hits. The connection to tennis is communicating and listening...the blindfolded person has to be a great listener, and the other person has to be a great communicator without being bossy.

A variation is to get rid of the blindfolds and just split players into groups of 5-6. The group gets together in a predetermined circle and you toss a balloon into their group. Once they control it, throw another, and another, etc...the groups work on communication, teamwork and strategy to see who can keep the most balloons in the air at the same time.		http://tinyurl.com/yd8xzyp6

You need one bath or beach towel per pair. Two pairs make up a team. The idea is to toss the balloon using the towel as the catapult. The other pair try to catch the balloon in their towel without breaking it. Start about 20 or so feet apart and increase the distance with each successive toss and catch. Once the balloons breaks, (sometimes a balloon will fall and not break - call it good fortune) your team is out. Play until you have one team standing.
Connection to tennis is communication and team work. It's also fun on a hot day, turning into an impromptu water balloon fight. Have plenty of extras on hand.
