Mr. Waternoose! | James! Perfect timing! | No no no, sir, you don’t understand. | Now, show these monsters how its done. | Sir, you have to listen to me. | Pay attention, everyone. You’re about to see the best in the business. Reset the simulator. | But sir!
SFX #2: 55:19 - 55:34
Mr. Waternoose, we don’t have time for this! | Come on, come on! What are you waiting for? Roar! | But sir! | Roar! | [SULLY roars.] [Mechanic kid screams.] [BOO screams.]
SFX #3: 56:11 - 56:31
Boo? No no no. It’s okay. I was just... | [BOO whimpers.] | Don’t be scared. It wasn’t real. I was just... | [BOO continues to whimper.]
SFX #4: 1:00:34 - 1:00:51
We need to get to Boo. | Boo? What about us? Ever since that kid came in, you’ve ignored everything I’ve said, and now look where we are. We were about to break the record, Sully. We would have had it made! | None of that matters now.
SFX #5: 1:01:15 - 1:01:45
Sully, what about everything we’ve ever worked for. Does that matter? What about Celia? I’m never gonna see her again. Doesn’t that matter? What about me? I’m your pal. I’m your best friend. Don’t I matter?
SFX #6: 1:01:45 - 1:01:55
I’m sorry, Mike. I’m sorry we’re stuck out here. I didn’t mean for this to happen. But Boo’s in trouble, and I think there may be a way to save her.

It’s easy to ignore God’s heart when others are just things.
Motivation: compare and contrast Mike and Sully.
|Acts 10:9-16 (NASB) |
On the next day, as they were on their way and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray. But he became hungry and was desiring to eat; but while they were making preparations, he fell into a trance; and he *saw the sky opened up, and an object like a great sheet coming down, lowered by four corners to the ground, and there were in it all kinds of four-footed animals and crawling creatures of the earth and birds of the air. A voice came to him, “Get up, Peter, kill and eat!” But Peter said, “By no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything unholy and unclean.” Again a voice came to him a second time, “What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy.” This happened three times, and immediately the object was taken up into the sky.
Acts 10:19-20 (NASB)
While Peter was reflecting on the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you. But get up, go downstairs and accompany them without misgivings, for I have sent them Myself.”
Acts 10:25-28 (NASB)
When Peter entered, Cornelius met him, and fell at his feet and worshiped him. But Peter raised him up, saying, “Stand up; I too am just a man.” As he talked with him, he entered and *found many people assembled. And he said to them, “You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a man who is a Jew to associate with a foreigner or to visit him; and yet God has shown me that I should not call any man unholy or unclean.
Ephesians 2:13-14 (NLT)
But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ. For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.
John 10:9 (NASB)
I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

|PS Philip Comment on FINDING NEMO | FCC 159||Wow guys, great job with FINDING NEMO! You really did a thorough job of mining it for Christian themes. I'm afraid I don't have much to contribute on it, it's been a long time since I saw the whole movie.|
I do have a question, though. Do y'all each have a favorite Alfred Hitchcock film, and do you think it would work well as an episode of FCC? I had only seen REAR WINDOW before last year, and have since seen a few more. I'm enjoying filling in some cinematic blind spots with various classics this year, more so than I usually do.
Love the show guys! #muhweeladgimli
