We had 33 participants, including 27 staff (across 12 departments; 17 of which hail from the LL/HML/Law Library) and 6 students (representing six different areas of grad and undergrad study)

Four participants emerged at the finish line: Cathy Elliot of the Law Library staff, Alya Hijazi, an English major, Margaret Puentes of the Leatherby Libraries staff,
and Catalina Lopez (our first finalist who also wrote the most reviews and completed 19 reads!) also of the LL staff.

What genres were most popular? Fiction was most popular at 94 titles, with non-fiction at 80 titles, graphic novels at 43 titles, Children's/YA at 16 titles, and 1 theater script.

Which authors and titles were most popular?

Most read author was graphic novelist Bryan Lee O'Malley (7 graphic novels) followed by Neil Gaiman (5 graphic novels and 1 popular fiction novel).
The most read title was Women & Power: A Manifesto by Mary Beard, read and reviewed three times.

Any titles that weren't recommended?

There were 10 "not recommended" titles --each reviewed and rejected by Chapman staff, including LL, Facilities, and SCST.

Were there any titles read by more than one reader, and did the reviews match?

There were 13 titles each read by two readers, and 1 title read by three readers. Half of the titles shared an exact match in reader recommendations,
while the other half had varying recommendations, though only by one degree of difference in six of the seven variations. Origin by Dan Brown was
the most varied with "somewhat recommended" and "highly recommended" ratings.

In the past we had a range of 18-35 participants (peaking at 35 in 2015). This year saw a record 4 participants complete all 15 reviews; since 2011, no more than 1 participant per year has completed all 15 reviews.

What were the most popular locations in the library to find materials for summer reading?

The most frequented area of the Leatherby Libraries for CoR materials was the 2nd Floor Humanities library (73 titles), followed by the popular McNaughton collection (62 titles),
and the 1st floor Graphic Novels collection (43 titles). Other areas visited included the 3rd floor Muth Children's collection and 2nd floor Theater Scripts.
