7 | Each team has an SDI jersey to wear in the games, players must leave their jersey in the locker room after each game | |
8 | 10-11 players per team, substitutes fill in when players are absent | |
9 | Players are divided into teams after registration closes, teams are then adjusted accordingly to make teams as competitive/equal as possible | |
10 | Each team plays 5 games total | |
11 | Week 1 is Evaluation Games, Weeks 2-3 are Round Robin Games, Week 4 is Round Robin Games and Playoffs | |
12 | 2-3 minute warmup and 2 20-24 minute run-time halves, minimal stoppages of play | |
13 | Loose off-sides and icing | |
14 | No checking or fighting, penalty shots for penalties, a player that takes 3 penalties or has intentions to hurt another player will be suspended indefinitely with no refund of payment | |
15 | Players change on the fly, shift lengths are monitored with shifts over 60 seconds long earning a warning, a player that receives 3 warnings will be suspended indefinitely with no refund of payment | |
16 | After a save is made or a goal is scored, the defending team starts with the puck behind their net, the opposing team must back out behind the dots | |
17 | Goalies switch teams at halftime, rare exceptions may apply | |
18 | Playoff Shootout Rules: 3 players from each team and then sudden death, oldest players shoot first | |
19 | Any parent who negatively yells from the bleachers/standing area at our referees(or our coaches/scorekeepers) will have their player suspended indefinitely with no refund of payment | |
20 | Maximum Goal Differential per game is 6 | |
21 | Regular Season Point Breakdown: Win = 2 Points, Tie = 1 Point, Loss = 0 Points | |
22 | Tiebreakers for Playoff Seedings: 1) Most Points, 2) Most Wins, 3) Greater Goal Differential, 4) Most Goals | |
