#7 MEMORY: Repeat to remember.Which rule is memory? I forget! I saw this this morning: Memory can be a problem! See Dan Russell (searcher at Google) who wrote a post called Searching within a document, human memory, and other things you'd like Google search to do http://searchresearch1.blogspot.com/2015/05/searching-within-document.html At the end,in the comments, one of the readers, Hans, suggested some Chrome extensions that help you search a document/webpage - including one that is supposed to look for synonymsI have advised my math students to repeat, repeat, repeat. I like using videos especially those from www.khanacademy.org so that they can watch videos repeatedly to learn math conceptswhen i taught math, i told my students to justify each step, proof-form. it helps remembering the common rules and methods for starting solutions.(Repetition) VERY lt-in our Dale Carnegie programs-to reinforce the value of repetition when we are teaching "chunking" (see Allan Paivio's dual coding theory)-we deliberately DON"T repeat one step-the fact that they find it more difficult to recall THAT step helps them realize this is not a magic pill-it is a legitimate and proven memory techniqueI love quizlet. I think it relates to Memory #7, https://quizlet.com/
