2	Directions: Use this rubric to evaluate the final pollinator plan developed in the course. Score each category based on the descriptions and enter a total score below.

5	Succession	Planning for blooming throughout the seasons	Plan will result in very limited (less than 3 months) bloom season and very limited varieties.	Plan will result in a 4 - 5 month bloom time, but in a relatively limited palette.	Plan will result in native wildflowers OR shrubs blooming from spring to fall, but not both.	Plan will result in native wildflowers and shrubs with bloom times stretching from spring to fall.
6	Native Plants	Favoring native species in all areas	Plan does not remove existing invasive species and/or introduces non-native species.			Plan includes removal of non-native invasive species, as applicable, and installation of native species.
7	Pesticides	Eliminating use of harmful pesticides (if applicable)	Plan does not reduce existing use of harmful pesticides.	Plan reduces pesticide use, but does not eliminate it, and may still allow noenicitonoids to enter the landscape.	Plan reduces use of harmful pesticides and eliminates all potential of neonicotinoids entering the landscape.	Plan will result in complete elimination of neonicotinoids or related pesticides, and ensures all newly added plantings were not treated with the same. Plan eliminates use of all pesticides in lawn/yard care.
8	Habitat	Promote nesting and overwintering habitat	Plan does not include any elements that improve availability of nesting and overwintering habitat.		Plan promotes improved nesting and overwintering habitat to a small variety of local pollinator species.	Plan promotes improved nesting and overwintering habitat to a wide range of local pollinator species.
9	Community	Includes community involvement	Plan does not include any elements that will increase community awareness of pollinator support activities.			Plan includes community action to increase visibility and community awareness of pollinator support.
10	Costs	Estimated cost of plan	Plan does not include projected costs, or costs are not based on real, current prices.	Plan includes projected costs based on current prices, but is missing key elements.	Plan includes projected costs of all elements based on current prices, but has some minor errors or omissions.	Plan includes detailed and accurate cost estimates for enacting the proposed changes.
