If you are visiting the Jersey Shore for the first time and are thinking of staying for a week or a long weekend, we recommend you stay along the beaches to get the full experience. Options in the towns of Avon by the Sea, Belmar, Spring Lake, Ocean Grove and Asbury Park are the best locations near the beaches. If you are traveling alone or as a couple, we recommend the following options: - Homewood Suites (Discounted block of rooms) - Bed and Breakfast or Inn - Local Boutique Hotel If you are traveling as a group or want to stay with friends, we recommend that you explore private house rentals to get the full experience.
