Membership, Outreach and CommunicationMembership Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, promote and grow membership for our Business Excellence Community of Practice (BE-CoP).
Developing a membership plan
If appropriate, develop a membership campaign theme.
Determine the membership components and what the retention goal is.
A successful membership plan will:
Attract new members with varied backgrounds.
Get staff involved in the campaign.
Ongoing responsibilities:
Give regular membership updates to the BE-CoP. Keep the BE-CoP informed about activities and outreach.
Maintain a list of members, update as new members are enrolled. Create an email that list all of the members.
(Work with Website Chair on member list and listserv.
Chair membership meetings.
Communication Responsibilities:
Prepare agenda for meetings with specific membership goals for the year.
Appoint a secretary to take meeting notes.
Communicate and collaborate with other committee chairs (Event and Website).
Solicit feedback from members and the BE-CoP.
Outreach Responsibilities:
Plan an annual membership calendar, activities and outreach efforts.
Schedule outreach dates to coincide with events.
Define and plan the outreach teams, brochures, communication.
Provide a measure/benchmark for accomplishment.
