11/30/2020I found my first experience very good and positive. Unfortunately with travel restrictions in our area we could not get to Harrogate to see the car.
My initial enquiry was responded to very quickly and most information was given although my query on full Audi service history was not, only full service history was noted. Again when querying previous accident damage my query was not answered, so I was slightly concerned
I know the car I was interested in has now been sold to another lucky owner.
Overall found my experience very good - but could maybe do better !

We are looking for a specific Approved Audi (S4 Avant in Blue) and Danny has already suggested one, but it wasn't quite right for us. He is continuing to look out for the right car, which I am sure he will find. We will leave it in his capable hands until the right one comes along.

We are happy to wait and secure it through Harrogate Audi.

12/14/2020 19:05:11Approached by Audi as my TT is holding excellent value but PCP up in the Summer. Fact find carried out where I informed Audi that I would be interested if there were any deals for a similar car but without increasing my monthly spend of c£375 and no longer than 3 years. Audi came back with a 4 year deal (remember, 3 or less was the ask) for an A3 Saloon (remember I asked for a similar model) and at a cost of c£480 (only £100 more I know, but quite close). So all in all, pretty pointless call and a waste of my time. When the sales guy realised I probably wasn’t on the same page, he said he’d send me a video of the TT in stock, but he must be busy as it never arrived. Another amazing customer experience in the car industry!!!

12/18/2020 14:22:52We dealt with Richard when we enquired about a Q8 in stock. He was very pleasant and professional, he listened to our needs and gave all the information we needed. He was very quick to respond via email and phone when needed.
Unfortunately we didn't buy the car from Richard because we are swapping from a Cayenne S back to an Audi... we tried a 55TFSI at a dealer closer to home and noticed that this wasn't giving us the performance we were used to - so your 50TDI wasn't going to be the car for us. Richard was worth driving from Kent to Harrogate for - thanks for your time Richard.

12/29/2020 11:22:48The quality of service from Chris was great. He was very proactive and he arranged for a video of the car as soon as it came in to the dealership. The only issue was the inability to test drive the car. I understand that you’ve had issues with theft previously, but (a) I think it’s unreasonable to expect anyone to buy a 5 year old performance car without being able to drive it; and (b) by refusing a test drive there’s an implied - though I’m sure unintended - suggestion that I might try to steal the car. I know that the ‘no test drive’ policy is related to your insurance, but because other Audi dealers in the area don’t have the same issue, it can’t be insurmountable. Also, I’ve owned 3 Audis, all bought brand new from main dealers and have a current finance agreement with VWFS. Surely this makes my identity very easy to verify, to make sure I won’t steal the car? In any event, I don’t think it’s an appropriate level of service for an Audi main dealer, and I feel bad for Chris that his efforts were hamstrung by not being able to offer a test drive. 1/18/2021 17:41:53Jonathan and Matt were extremely helpful in a very quick turn around in my part exchange and new (to me) car. I'm very pleased how they made every effort to make the transaction as simple and straight forward as possible, especially since this is not our local Audi garage and we had to travel almost 4 hours to get there. It was well worth it in the end and we both very very impressed with how easily the click and collect process was and how helpful the guys were despite COVID and difficult weather conditions.

1/19/2021 13:25:02I contacted Audi as I am looking to change my car in the next month or so. I currently have a Land Rover Freelander and I am looking at a range of similar sized vehicles including Land Rover, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, and Volvo.

Due to the current Covid restrictions, it is not possible to visit a showroom or arrange a test drive, but Jonathan who I spoke to me has sent me an introductory video. Unfortunately, I have not driven an Audi (or some of the other makes) for several years and I am not prepared to buy a car I have never driven.

1/19/2021 20:20:28Very satisfied with my dealings with my contact Jonathan Egerton. Friendly approach from him and easy to talk to and he answered all the questions I asked of him during our negotiations over a period of several days. He returned all my calls on time with the appropriate information. I was happy to conduct my business with him and pleased to be able to conclude a deal for my new Audi.
On reflection my one disappointment was the initial on-line valuation of my potential trade vehicle. It was attractive and I now suspect speculatively high simply to attract my business. The final valuation was ridiculously lower and nearly resulted in my not proceeding with any deal. Needless to say I refused the trade-in offer and made other more sensible arrangements. I can honestly say I nearly went elsewhere to buy my car and Harrogate Audi nearly lost my business. I hope this is not your standard practice which I find somewhat disingenuous.

1/27/2021 5:31:28We were in the process of discussing and had decided to purchase a used A1, when we were at the point of sale we were told the car was no longer available as another salesperson had sold the car to someone else, this left us very disappointed. In addition there is a marked difference between sales people on what they offer in terms of competitive price and add ons. We have had 9 Audi cars from Q7 down to A1 over the years. We came to Harrogate Audi following very poor customer service from Teesside Audi with very little loyalty shown, our fear is now that Harrogate Audi (Sytner) is not a whole much better. If we are to recommend Audi Sytner we would need to see a better service, not that any of these comments will make a difference though, we are sure this is just going through some kind of process!!

1/28/2021 10:08:50The people that I spoke to were very helpful but the arrangements during Covid were a little disappointing. I did not have my car washed as part of the service and my seat was left out of its place and the dashboard system needed to be re-sit by me before I drove away. Little things but not the service i would usually hope for. Friends have had better experiences of services from Fiat, Ford and unsurprisingly Porsche. In particular my husband who has a porsche, was allowed to stay on the premises during the service and a friend who has a Ford was given a courtesy car. I feel that the Covid rules have been interpreted far too rigidly by Audi here to mean that the level of service given was not that brilliant. Someone was in my car to carry out the service so i am not sure why I couldn't be loaned one of your cars also? It doesn't really make sense. I also had details of work needed just left on a slip of paper in my car. I won't be coming to Audi Harrogate for this work I'm afraid. It felt like you weren't that bothered whether I do or I don't!

1/29/2021 20:51:34I had two contacts with Harrogate Audi. First to arrange a service, which was not possible as my car could not be collected from home so I found another garage that would do this.
I then contacted the sales department to discuss buying a new A3, but no car was available and it was not possible to confirm a schedule for delivery of a new order. I am going to but a BMW instead.
It seems that Harrogate Audi are unable to provide the level of support that a potential customer might require.

2/1/2021 12:11:29So not sure why I’ve been sent this questionnaire. I did not contact Audi for any info. A message about having so many payments left on my plan was left on my voicemail which was then followed by an email seemingly to suggest I had requested the info. I hadn’t! The email started off with thank you for your recent vehicle enquiry/appointment—— both of which are incorrect. I appreciate this is provably a sales technique but the result for me is a bit switch off.

Arrived to pick up and tried to charge me for mot despite telling me in advance it was free. Drivers door still doesn't open, told would need parts from Germany. 1 week on and no news. Disappointing.

3/25/2021 19:15:15The sales representative that sourced my vehicle, Jonathan Egerton has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. He spent a great deal of time, even late on into the evening, sourcing a vehicle for me and I believe genuinely went beyond my expectations. The vehicle was delivered on schedule and more than met my expectations. In fact, I would say that I am absolutely thrilled with the car!!.

Furthermore, the efforts of Jonathan on this deal, has resulted in a further order for another car; an A3 for my wife. I would not hesitate in recommending Harrogate Audi to anyone in the future and this is solely due to the great work of your sales representative.

On an aside note, the car was handed over by Matt Woodings, who was equally as professional and presented the car extremely well.

3/29/2021 9:31:35I asked for quote options and received only the headline cast per month and not the actual quote. I needed this to compare the detail of these against a similar quote for a BMW X5 ( who gave me the full detail) This was not the deciding factor - after owning 2 x Q7s I’ve gone for an X5 due to no availability of alloy wheel choices I liked ( would have taken the 22” design available on vorsprung trim but can’t specify them on a black edition) secondly don’t like the all touch screen with it’s new lower position in centre consul.
These are Audi issues not Harrogate dealer issues

3/29/2021 10:20:06I contacted Harrogate Audi to try and source a very low mileage S3. I spoke to Richard Gilligan who was very helpful and thought he'd managed to find a vehicle for me. Unfortunately it turned out that the vehicle has been sold earlier in the day. Richard has since sent me a quote for new car but in the meantime I have managed to source a car from another dealer. Overall, Harrogate were great to deal with - just unlucky due to the scarcity of S3s.
