Thank you for considering making thank you cards for Itsie Bitsie Rescue volunteers. Each of these volunteers gives lots of their time and energy to raise kittens or puppies until they are big enough to be spayed or neutered, and then the little ones are adopted out to their forever homes. We'd like original artwork, so start by folding a piece of paper into halves or quarters. Be creative and think of what messages people might like to receive. Leave enough room for a name to be written in there and for the card to be signed by the IBR leaders. By putting your name into this spreadsheet, you're committing to creating 10 cards for that kind of animal. I will give you one hour of credit at a minimum, but if it takes you more time to make the cards, enter that in the table when you're done. You don't have to be a great artist, but I do expect to be convinced that you really spent that much time (and thoughtfulness) in making the cards. Please have them done by August 25, and I'll be in contact about gathering them up. If you finish your first 10 and want to do more, you can sign up again.For more ideas about what IBR does, check their webpage and Facebook sites. If you've ever made cards for teacher appreciation week, this is the same idea except that you don't know the volunteers personally. The picture shows cards made in a similar project for Sierra Donor Services to give you more ideas about our expectations, but of course you want to focus on kittens or puppies.
