Prototyping the 50 machines of the Global Village Construction Set (GVCS).
19
Team Forming and Project DefinitionTeam and task organization, research and analysis of possible sites and scope of projectStudents teams know who they are working with directly and the scopre of their project. Also specify roles to the extent it facilitates effecient time and task management.
20
Project DesignTraining in CAD, BOM, Drawings, Architecture fundamentals, QC processes, Coding in Python, reading and creating plans, permitting and code compliance. Training is followed by each team designing their initial draft projectEach team has requisite technical documents to turn vision into reality.
21
PlanningUsing project definition, each team plans their build phase which includes the schedule, budget, workflow concept, sequencing, testing, etc. Each team develops a detailed plan for final build.
22
Re-Design and BuildTeams execute their plan, adjusting their design according to lessons learned during the planning phase. Each team's house is constructed and passes requisite inspections.
