ackpost-retro7th. the bassline is out of sync rhythmically with the pattern length (6/4 vs. 7/4), which is an idea that i like that could have been used in an interesting way, but because it doesn't really move anywhere diatonically or set up any other clear tension-resolution pattern, it just feels aimless. Not much happening here, but creative chords over that non-changing bassline. It's musical though so it's not the worst thing I've heard.

Attack of the Giant Cyber ChickenZillahthe mixing is good but i felt like there wasn't much movement here. 5thI had more ideas but then I lost power FUCK YOU NATUREidm-y

cocomoll circuitCorell1st. probably hanna's. i felt like it could have changed key or something at least once, but the mixing, melodies, and percussion are all good, and there's different lead instruments used to keep it fresh. definitely good vibe, did pretty well with the "kart game music" feel. i don't understand why the same sequence of patterns is repeated twice, though.Tropical Island games. I really like it!cool exotic ideas, but I'm not super fond of that 5th-tone bassline. Works in certain cases, but not in this one.

Emergency Alert System Weekly Required Test
pubicBroadcasting6th. initially i didn't like the beginning, but after listening a few times it grew on me. i liked how the bough sample was used to complement the noise sound. the flintstones quote was funny. seems like a troll submission, but not a bad one. overall, a refreshing entry. mandras joke-entry (no hard guessing here for obvious reasons :)). But it's a good joke-entry nonetheless!GRAND DAD!!!

facking penistennisersi banged most of this out in several hours and spent the rest of the time mostly tweaking and making smaller additions. i feel iffy about the detuned piano at the beginning but i couldn't bring myself to change it, because any changes i did make didn't feel any better. i'm surprised mine is the longest. Some clashing notes here and there, some of them a bit dissonant as well. But it's not the worst thing I've heard.

lil doozyTorchkassimple but well executed. swing rhythm usually makes everything better. probably galgox, because of patterns 9-12. 2ndNot too expressive, but not too simple either. I like the spicy ending which managed to rise over the overall expression the tune had, that was a nice little suprise.

snookusbagsaladnot very developed but i like what's there. i really like how the bough sample was combined with the distorted bass, and how they were both complemented by the smooth organ sound. i also like how it seems like it's just going to be a simple melody and then it does jazz thing. 4th. I wish it was longershort but expressiveexcellentLICK

The communityklutzynervusone.klutzy did this one. it's nice, just coulda been a more developed. the drums seem a bit too loud relative to the lead in patterns 1-4 (though maybe that was the intent), and also panning could've been used a bit more but i don't blame anyone for not messing with panning. 3rd.Neat soundsIt's a bit repetitive, but near the end, the sound-design got a little bit more interesting. Odd meter too! (even polyrhythm? I think the beats changes at the end?). The drums nails it as well.
