Having one repository of the courses listed by college and discipline, will serve as a good marketing and promotional tool to serve local students. Project scope can further be expanded by listing courses which are articulated and or dual-enrollment with the feeder school.

Open for other suggestions to incorporate other tools to serve students and employers.

Explanation for multiple sectors. The suggestion is to update all colleges CTE programs similar to Bakersfield College to include “Career Coach” by EMSI.

It is extremely valuable to have the labor market data alongside the course/program. I showed the Bakersfield College website to a counselor and she was very appreciative of the information. What are the outcomes of this project?The funds will be used to develop a Logistics and Inventory Control program. Building on existing curriculum, programs and courses the new program will address various areas within warehousing, inventory control, distribution, purchasing and logistics computer applications. Industry recognized certifications may include MSSC CLA, CLT, and CPT.
