Prior to coming to SUU, Kolby was the lighting coordinator for the Zoellner Arts Center at Lehigh University where he oversaw the diverse lighting and video projection needs of over 200 multidisciplinary events annually. He has taught various courses in lighting design and technology as an adjunct professor at both Lehigh University and Texas Woman's University. Freelance work as a lighting designer or assistant/associate designer has included companies such as African American Repertory Theater, Big Thought - Creative Solutions, Contemporary Ballet Dallas, Dallas Theater Center, Dark Circles Contemporary Dance, Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Undermain Theatre, and the Utah Symphony. She received an Associate’s in Dance Performance and an Associate’s in Dance Technology from Scottsdale Community College. While attending, she was part of the modern dance company Instinct Dance Corps. She also had the opportunity to teach Modern Dance at Halestone Dance Studio in Virginia. Currently, Paige is pursuing her Bachelor’s in Dance Education from Southern Utah University. Along with dance performance, Paige also dedicates her talents to musical theater and choreographic projects. She also competed at the state level twice, placing fifth overall in Utah in 2021. She was a four year member of the SUU Dance Team and choreographed many of their routines. While in the SUU Dance Department, Averi received many accolades including the SUU Choreography Award and an ACDA nomination for her work. She also served as a marketing director for the Southern Utah University Dance Organization. Averi has taught and choreographed for dancers of all ages across the west coast. She enjoyed teaching dance camps with the United Spirit Association for 5 years where she was a head instructor. She has choreographed many award winning routines at the studio and state levels, as well as multiple top 3 finishes at collegiate nationals. After graduating, she worked in San Francisco with various companies as a stitcher, draper, and wardrobe. She discovered her love for the stage through numerous community theatre productions, which sparked a lifelong commitment to the performing arts. Currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at Southern Utah University, Norah is also completing a double minor in History and Dance. This summer she has had the privilege to work with the Utah Shakespeare Festival on Playteam, from tours to workshops to summer camps! As an educator, Joseph has taught at Rogue Community College, where he founded the school's first percussion ensemble, and now teaches at Southern Utah University as the director of the Vanguard New Music Ensemble. She also served as a marketing director for the Southern Utah University Dance Organization. Averi has taught and choreographed for dancers of all ages across the west coast.
