This goal will be achieved through targeted professional development, the adoption of evidence-based curricula, data-driven instruction, and comprehensive support systems for both educators and students. Measureable outcomes include the following. 1. Increase in the percentage of students meeting or exceeding grade-level literacy benchmarks as measured by standardized assessments 2. Reduction in the number of students requiring intensive reading interventions by the end of the year 3. Positive feedback from educators regarding the effectiveness of professional development and the quality of instructional materials 4. Increase in parent engagement literacy activities as evidenced by participation rates and survey responses 5. Professional Development that is focused on effective instructional strategies and differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students 3. Use assessment to regularly monitor student progress and analyze data to identify and address gaps in learning 4. Develop student support systems for students who are struggling to meet grade-level expectations and provide enrichment opportunities for students who exceed grade-level standards 5.
