Improving Academic Outcomes: Literacy Goal

Goal/Outcome: Hampton Schools will increase the percent of “Level 3” (17.32%) or “Level 4” (3.73%) ELA students by 10% and decrease the percent of ELA “Level 1” (32.75%) by 10% on the Arkansas Teaching and Learning Assessment System (ATLAS) in the 2025-2026 school year from the 2025 Arkansas Teaching and Learning Assessment System (ATLAS) results. Students will demonstrate an overall increase of 10% in the number of students meeting their growth goals on the ATLAS literacy assessments in the 2025-2026 school year from the 2025 ATLAS results.

Goal/Outcome: Hampton Schools will increase the percent of “Level 3” (19.7%) or “Level 4” (2.35%) MATH students by 10% and decrease the percent of MATH “Level 1” (33.6%) by 10% on the Arkansas Teaching and Learning Assessment System (ATLAS) in the 2025-2026 school year from the 2025 Arkansas Teaching and Learning Assessment System (ATLAS) results. Students will demonstrate an overall increase of 10% in the number of students meeting their growth goals on the ATLAS math assessments in the 2025-2026 school year from the 2025 ATLAS results.

Goal/Outcome: By May 2026, the school will implement a learner-centered instructional framework that includes regular analysis of student data, development of instructional guidelines to meet individual learner needs, and monitoring of classroom practices to ensure positive impact on student learning. Teachers will participate in collaborative team meetings at least twice per month to address curriculum, assessment, instruction, and student achievement. Progress will be measured using 2024–2025 ATLAS data, 2025–2026 ATLAS interim assessments, agendas and minutes from collaborative meetings, and teacher survey results.
