The podcast is a meta, true crime comedy series where comedian and filmmaker Andrew T. Benedict investigates scams and uses tactics learned to raise funding for his independent feature film. A strange personal journey, this show is inspired by Nathan Fielder, and podcasts like Dead Eyes and Search Engine. It's currently in production with a planned summer release date.

**This podcast has a behind the scenes documentary aspect, and the intern may very well end up on the show. They would need to be comfortable with that possibility, as well as some meetings being recorded, and signing an NDA and appearance release.**

The independent feature film tied to this show is a horror/ dark comedy in pre-production. Intern would be privy to budgeting, fundraising and pitching.

Intern duties for both shows may include research, casting, and pitch deck building.

You will complete script coverage, do creative research, and have the opportunity to shadow Rideback team members for an immersive experience. Invention StudiosInvention Studios is an independent creative company based in Los Angeles but with projects, executives, and partners across the globe. Devoted to finding and supporting the boldest and most original stories by creators from all backgrounds and in all genres, Invention is developing a wide range of movies and television series for major American and international platforms alike.

Invention is founded and run by Nicholas Weinstock, a Harvard grad who has developed and produced a diverse array of successful films and shows, from films like Get Him to the Greek and Bridesmaids to shows like Escape at Dannemora, which was nominated for 12 Emmy Awards, and most recently the Emmy Award-winning Apple+ series Severance, which he continues to executive produce.
