I am a young health care professional. I have worked in the field of community health and health education for the past decade. I relocated to Oregon a few years ago to peruse a year of national service as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Oregon Health Authority. I am passionate about social justice, health care and access, equity, improving the social determinates of health and community engagement.
I have lobbied on behalf of RHEA and other bills/acts in the past, both in Salem and Sacramento. I have canvased, promoted, fundraised and donated to democratic candidates both locally and nationally. I also currently volunteer for NARAL.
I would like to be a PCP, because I believe it is important o be engaged in democracy. I have worked with many types of vulnerable populations over the last decade and I would like to continue to work to ensure that policies reduce barriers, improve access and increase equity in our community, county and state.

I'm a journalist/writer/editor, specializing in design, sustainability, culture and politics.
Ran social media (Twitter and Instagram) for Kayse Jama campaign; contribute to Nasty Women Get Shit Done Twitter feed; canvassing for Kayse Jama, JoAnn Hardesty, and Julia DeGraw; phonebanking for Bernie Sanders; write weekly political newsletter for 6,000+-person progressive group; served on board of Northwest History Network and helped organize campaign to restore funding to Oregon Historical Society.
The more involved I become in politics, the more I believe that changing the system (getting corporate $$ out of politics, etc.) needs to start at the local level.

I am an old woman who is still active and engaged with family and garden and performing music.
Have worked on and off on Democratic campaigns since Adlai Stevenson ran for president. I was a PCP in Portland for a few elections....doing knocking on doors in the neighborhood I lived in since 1991.
I want to be more closely engaged with a team and want to help get Democrats who have not voted either recently or for years to actually vote this especially important election year. I thought it might work better if I was a PCP again.

I am fifty years old. I am a mother and grandmother. I have a disability. I am currently not working but I am an LCSW and I’ve worked in the healthcare field for many years.
My great uncle was US Congressman Charles Vanik-D Ohio. I spent several summers as a teenager volunteering at in his office. Later, in high school I volunteered in the Berkeley District Office for US Congressman Ron Dellums- D CA. In college, as a political science major, I spent a year working as an intern for State Senator Mike Thompson- D Butte County, CA. In addition, I have volunteered on several political campaigns and at the state party convention in CA.
I am a mother, grandmother and human being. I am saddened and disgusted at what I see happening all around me! I believe it is my responsibility to my daughters, granddaughter, and fellow humans to do something!

Recently moved from San Francisco to Portland, I believe strongly in Democratic Party and I try to promote the ideals of the most Progressive Wing of our inclusionary Party.
I have worked with the Harvey Milk Democratic Club and worked closely with Mike Gravel's presidential candidacy in a successful bid to bring the Democratic Party and planks farther left in support of gay marriage back in the day including being present during the first LGBTQ Democratic Candidates Debate in LA.
All politics are local and it's the most hands on position you can be in to help motivate and encourage people to vote.

Lifelong Democrat, now retired with my husband. I started doing precinct work along with my parents when I was 10, where I stuffed envelopes at campaign headquarters in L.A. County for the JFK election. I’ve worked on several campaigns ever since. I’m a mom & grandmother. I am committed to basic human rights, women’s issues, senior & disabled issues, education & many more social issues
I have works n several different campaigns over the years.
Our political system is under attack. It is time for everyone to step up & work for our democracy. We must insure free & fair elections in our country. I want to make sure the rule of law remains strong. I love my country and I want it to thrive for everyone!

I’m a 28 year-old professional living in NW Portland. I love this city and want to have a more meaningful impact in the community that I live in.
Just volunteering around my community.
I’ve been a proud registered Democrat since I turned 18. I feel that now is the time (given our current political climate) to start taking a more active role in the party. I want to be able to say that I’m helping, not only the Democratic party, but the city and the community that I live in. I also want to prove that 20-somethings do care about our government and can make meaningful changes.
