Parents unknown but would be Josiah and Sarah if he followed the naming convention back then. Enlisted with Hamilton's 82nd Regiment of Foot in Jan. 1778. Their first mission was to construct a fort at Penobscot Bay where he was wounded on Aug 07,1779. Discharged at Halifax on Nov.25, 1783. Married Elizabeth Taylor Fisher Aug. 05, 1795. They had 13 children together. Alexander died Apr. 24, 1853.
