Grammar for the Well-Trained Mind
Core Instructor Text (Use for all 4 - 8 years)
8
Designed as a middle-school curriculum, but the lessons can be easily extended through high school, particularly using the second half of each workbook and key. Use the same Core Instructor Text each year, and choose one workbook and key for each year. It doesn't matter what color you start on. The lessons are the same every year, but the exercises change so students acheive grammar mastery through repetition.

NOTE: Middle school students, particularly early middle school students, will probably not finish a workbook in a year. That's absolutely okay! Just start with a new color the following year, starting from the beginning, reviewing more quickly grammar concepts the student retained. As the student matures, you can return to previous workbooks and work through later lessons in each book.
