I'd like the starry night sky for the ceiling and for behind the statuary. Theologically, I feel uncomfortable having names of the departed as a part of the heavens as it is presumptuous. The stars behind the statuary, particularly Mary's is also a nice tie in to her assumption and coronation in Heaven. I think the Gold background behind the altar looks lovely. I think it would be better long-term to keep it simple and not plan for additional paintings in the 4 quadrants--it could get busy and detract from the central focus. For the center aisle, I think some kind of red tiling would look nice.

I love the plan as presented in gold, blue with stars above sanctuary; would vote for wider altar of repose to accommodate full use for Mass, altar rail, and no circles in tile, please (altar or aisle); niches for statuary to mirror sanctuary - gold background and blue ceiling with stars. Thank you!!

I like the red tiles with black on the outside for the center aisle. For the four squares where the gospel names are, what if we have something with a symbol that has a light in the back that would change coordinating to the liturgical calendar.

I think the plans are lovely. I like the gold. Agree, no circles, but like the idea of the center aisle being different from the rest of the floor. To me, less is more. Keep the quadrants plain. Small stars in the ceiling and ceilings of Mary and Joseph's alcoves would be nice.
