The availability of safe, quality, licensed childcare is critical for Colorado families. Family Child Care Homes (FCCHs) play a crucial role in our early childhood care system. Providing home childcare can be a rewarding career for those who love children and want to provide a safe environment for children to grow and learn. To become licensed in the state of Colorado, home childcare providers must attend 15 hours of “pre-licensing” training. The “Family Child Care Home Pre-Licensing Training” meets this requirement.
