SE Belmont St and SE 34th Ave10SE corner | SW corner | NW corner | NE corner | SW corner | NW corner | NW corner, NE corner, SW corner, SE corner | SE corner | SE corner | NW cornerThere is always garbage on Belmont -- lots of bars and restaurants. | It is a very busy intersection. Lots of restaurants and lots of trash accumulate along this block overnight and I have picked up at least three full trash cans worth in the last month alone. | Bus stop folks and bar clients drop hundreds of cigarette butts, coffee cups, and food wrappers. | Multiple businesses and restaurants | multiple restaurants | bus stop and bars at this location | lots of restaurants | 1 Restaurant, 1 coffee shop, 1 bar, 1 small market. | The current placement blocks the exit from Tri-Met back door. It is also outside a mini-mart and there is always trash. | Lots of foot traffic

SE Taylor St and SE Chavez Blvd5NW corner | NW corner | NW corner, NE corner | NW corner | NW corner, NE cornerBus stop location-always lots of trash here when I’m on garbage pick up | There should be a trash can at every bus stop. This location in particular fills with trash on a regular basis. | Heavy foot and bus traffic and heavy traffic due to Belmont library and sometimes houseless persons | Bus stop - constant trash lots of pedestrian traffic | It's right by the Belmont library (NE) and a bus stop (NW)
4
SE Hawthorne Blvd and SE 44th Ave3NE corner | NW corner | SW cornerWe desperately need them everywhere! This one would be a great start so walkers can drop doggie bags and litter we encounter around the area. | Two popular take outs are located here. the Whole Bowl and Kure Juice Bar. And people drop trash all over. | Two businesses on Hawthorne near that location that produce a lot of trash
5
SE Hawthorne Blvd and SE 37th Ave3NE corner | NW corner | NW corner, NE corner, SW corner, SE cornerNear bus stop, lots of foot traffic. | It’s near the bus stop and lots of to go restaurant/coffee cups/Fred Meyer trash builds up | Straight from New York, Starbucks, McMenamins, Trimet Stop, etc etc.
6
SE Hawthorne Blvd and SE 30th Ave3SW corner | NE corner, SW corner | NE cornerWe get trash from homeless people and those who get off the bus. | NE and SW corners are heavily used bus stops w/o a trash can. Both corners get littered with trash. | There is a bus stop here. It's also the "entrance" and "exit" to the main, walkable part of the neighborhood. The youth hostel used to have a trash can near here as well (at 31st and Hawthorne), before it closed.
7
SE Belmont St and SE Chavez Blvd3NW corner, SE corner | NW corner, SE corner | SE cornerI clean that area weekly and both NE and SE corners get really dirty, in part because of the Trimet stops without trash cans. | The bus stops at these corners seem to generate a lot of trash. | Bus stops, trash blows here, people leave trash here
8
SE Belmont St and SE 43rd Ave3NW corner | NE corner | NW cornerNear food carts | Near Belmont food | Food cart & coffee shop foot traffic seem to generate a lot of litter.
9
SE Belmont St and SE 42nd Ave3NW corner | NW corner | NW cornerBus stop shelter has Become a trash bin. | there is a bus stop shelter there that has been a magnet for trash for many years | Bus shelter seems to attract trash and TriMet isn't very timely with cleanup.
10
SE Yamhill St and SE Chavez Blvd2NW corner | NW cornerWith the mini mart and gas station close by, and a LOT of pedestrian traffic, there is ALWAYS TONS of loose garbage on the ground. | 39th St Minimart provides no outdoor trash can so people throw trash all over at this intersection and down Yamhill street. When the taco truck is open they do put out a garbage can.
11
SE Yamhill St and SE 34th Ave2SE corner | SE cornerHigh foot traffic area | There's a portopotty there that gets lots of use and the surrounding area always has trash on the ground or in the beanball diamond area.
12
SE Hawthorne Blvd and SE 49th Ave2NW corner | SE cornerFrequent small amounts of trash pile up from bar patrons heading to/from their cars. | Dog poo bags
13
SE Hawthorne Blvd and SE 43rd Ave2NE corner | NW corner, NE corner, SW corner, SE cornerbusy corner with foot traffic crossing so would be helpful for carryouts near by. | lots of take-out drinks and food available nearby (bubble tea, Kure juice, Whole Bowl, Common Ground, Ranger Station, etc.) but nowhere to toss the trash....it ends up in the private trash bins of the nearby houses, or just lands on the street
14
SE Belmont St and SE 45th Ave2SE corner | NE cornerBecause it’s a walkable strip with pet owners and food carts | Often small pieces of trash in this area, near a cafe and down the street from the food carts.
15
SE Belmont St and SE 35th Ave2SE corner | NW cornerLots of trash us dumped on the sidewalk between 34th and 36th along Belmont | Avalon Theatre generates a lot of trash
16
SE Belmont St and SE 33rd Ave2NE corner | SW cornerThere is so much trash that is generated from having H-Mart on the corner. From take-away lunch items, napkins, cigarette butts, and the like. I pick up trash around my block through Adopt-a-block (I live nearby on 33rd) and it’s frustrating the amount of trash that is generated and tossed on the blocks surrounding H-Mart. | Trash often accumulates near the electrical substation on the south side of SE Belmont St. just west of SE 33rd Ave
17
SE Yamhill St and SE 35th Ave1SW cornerI'm not really sure another trash can is needed here, since there is already one inside the Sunnyside Park very close to this intersection. The reason I thought it might help is because there is no dedicated Sharps container there. On the other hand, it is a school/park, so perhaps having a Sharps there isn't the best idea?
18
SE Washington St and SE 33rd Ave1NE cornerOn the way to/from the park
19
SE Taylor St and SE 41st Ave1NE cornerWe encounter a lot of litter on our walks around here, near a busy church and school. It would be fantastic to have a trash can here — and everywhere else!
20
SE Stark St and SE 33rd Ave1SW corner, SE cornerlots of foot traffic along 33rd avenue between Belmont & Stark
21
SE Salmon St and SE 41st Ave1NE cornerThe church is there and this area gets tons of walking traffic.
22
SE Main St and SE 38th Ave1SE cornerIt's a retail area (Fred Meyer's), and the streets and sidewalks are perpetually covered in trash because there's not place to discard unwanted items.
23
SE Hawthorne Blvd and SE Chavez Blvd1NW corner, SW cornerBusy corner w 2 bus stops
24
SE Hawthorne Blvd and SE 45th Ave1SE cornerHomeless leave their garbage everywhere!
25
SE Hawthorne Blvd and SE 36th Ave1NW cornerThere's a camp there, as well as several restaurants/cafes that serve takeaway food in adjacent blocks.
26
SE Hawthorne Blvd and SE 31st Ave1SW corner, SE cornerlots of fast food wrappers here, also homeless campers
27
SE Hawthorne Blvd and SE 28th Ave1SW cornerBus stop + Safeway
28
SE Belmont St and SE 38th Ave1NW cornerBelmont is pretty high traffic and it's close to 39th, but not right there.
29
SE Belmont St and SE 37th Ave1NW corner, SW cornerPeople entering and exiting bars and restaurants generate a lot of trash. I live across from Triple Nickel and on weekends that trash ends up in my yard pretty frequently. At least one trash can would hopefully remedy this problem!
30
SE Belmont St and SE 31st Ave1SW corner, SE corner.
31
SE Belmont St and SE 30th Ave1NW corner, NE cornerIt's a busy intersection near two bus stops (the 15) and a lot of houseless folks walk past it daily and would use it if it were there. There's one on the SE corner (by Advantis) but it's often full so I think we need another one.
32
SE Belmont St and SE 29th Ave1SE cornerBare bones patrons hang out smoking in the neighborhood and need a place to put their garbage. Or on the sw corner is good
