5
Instructions
6
1. Access the Google Sheet Template
7
Make a copy by selecting File > Make a Copy (or download it as an Excel file if you don’t have a Google account).
8
2. Fill Out the Meetings Tab
9
You are planning a work BBQ meeting. Come up with the following in each corresponding column in the Meetings tab:
10
Meeting Title: For example, Work BBQ
11
Attendees: List at least 3 fictional or real attendees.
12
Agenda Items: Include at least 2 agenda items, such as food options, drinks, entertainement, location
13
Type: Decide if each agenda item leads to an Action or a Decision
14
Description: Provide short details for each item. Example: "Look for local acts that could provide music or other entertainment"
15
Status: Set the progress for each action e.g., Not started, In progress, or Complete. (Remember that a Decision does not have a status so choose N/A for decisions).
16
Owner: Assign who will be responsible for each action or decision. An owner MUST be assigned.
17
Due Date: Add deadlines for completing the tasks.
18
Progress Notes: Add any relevant updates or notes.
19
Note: You can also do this exercise in a group setting by proposing to do it as a fun exercise in your next work meeting or your family gathering for example. If you do so, make sure to assign a Chair, a Notetaker (you!), and a Timekeeper
