Welcome to the Charizard Armor Compendium, where I pit Charizard's damage-based armor against every move in the game because I hate myself. Unfortunately Flare Blitz is a bit of a mess so this sheet may be less accurate (namely in how some projectiles trigger the contact hitbox of Charizard WeirdChamp), but nevertheless this sheet is as useful as the others. When using this document, please don't be unreasonable to yourself: look at the moves you're actually interested in and remember those specific interactions. This is designed to give players niche leverage in matchups by knowing that let's say, Flare Blitz armors through K. Rool's Kannonballs.

The purple isn't here as it seems Zeckemyro didn't know about the damage-based armor. It's tied to a separate animation from SpecialS, so it's fair enough. The white is when you're in a normal state. All animations last until the FAF. The red circles are the hitboxes, and the little white lines are the angles they send at. Use these visuals to optimally position yourself in favorable positions for armor.
