Specifications

1. General Information
Each product should be visually checked before use. Cracks, loose inserts and any defects may compromise the integrity of the product. If such defects are found, the product may need to be replaced or discarded.
Avoid throwing the product as they have not been made for it.
Conduct regular checks of the products which are in use; for example, every month or between each setting of a route that features the products.
2. Fixation
Installation should be made by experienced professionals. Incorrect installation can result in serious injuries.
The product should be placed on a flat wall over its entire surface and must not come out on the edges. Do not fasten to curved walls.
The wall surface must comply with the current standard for climbing walls (DIN EN 12572-1) or boulder walls (DIN EN 12572-2).
The product should be installed the right side up and not inverted. In other words, the textured/dual texture must be visible, and the product’s unpainted side must either be against or facing the wall.
Impact drivers should not be used on the products. Use normal drill mode - and not hammer mode - with torque of 5-10Nm.
The product has been designed with mounting holes and all of them must be used when setting. We suggest using 4.5x50mm or 4.5x60mm screws. The mounting screws must fully penetrate the climbing wall with a full thread. The screws must be installed as perpendicular to the wall as possible.
Do not over-tighten the volumes, and check for correct fastening.
No old holes may be used for new screw installation on the climbing wall.
Re-tightening may be necessary at certain intervals due to high dynamic loads.
3. Use
The products are designed for indoor use. Outdoor use may reduce the product life span and cause the colors to fade more quickly. Warranty does not apply for outdoor use.
Scratches, grazes, scrapes and color changes to the product do not constitute hazards.
Screwing holds on the product is at your own risk. Neither Sup’r nor manufacturers would be liable if a setter or user fails to comply with these instructions.
Impacts will reduce the Integrity of volumes and will lead to texture damage over time. The client is responsible for making cosmetic & structural repairs on their wooden volumes if they have been badly handled and show impacts.
4. Cleaning
The products should be cleaned at regular intervals. Clean only with water or special cleaning products for holds. Do not use cleaning chemical solutions without testing before.
If using a high-pressure water jet, keep water temperature below 40°C (100°F). It is imperative to maintain a minimum distance of 35-40cm (14-16in) between the nozzle and the product, otherwise the pressure of the water can potentially damage the surface of the product.
5. Care and Storage
Handling with care can result in a longer life span.
Store the products carefully in a dry place between 5° - 40°C (40° - 100°F).
Volumes can be stacked only with protection between them in order to maintain a quality coating. Avoid direct contact between volumes.
Falls and non-conforming storage can result in visible scratches or other serious damage to the products. Products will not be replaced due to non-conforming storage.
6. Warranty and Replacement
Compliance with these instructions is a basic requirement for safe use of the products, and warranty application.
The products may not be replaced independently.
