This is a spreadsheet containing the Blacklist/Whitelist for Cytoid. Information in this document is subject to change. To navigate to the Blacklist or Whitelist, click on the tabs at the bottom of this sheet, or click on the link below the appropriate disclaimer.The blacklist provides a series of games, artists’, or illustrators’ work that you cannot upload to cytoid.io without permission due to copyright or artists’ wishes. This includes songs that are introduced, featured, or exclusive to the following games or artists, as well as any artwork or assets used. This also includes any exclusive mixes from these companies/artists’ albums. We reserve the right to judge whether a 3rd party remix is allowed or not. The whitelist is an approved list of games, artists’, or illustrators’ work that can be used, as permission has already been given by the original owner/copyright holder or obtained by Cytoid. This is typically only used for official levels or events, but you are free to use what is approved (with some exceptions).

Contact the Cytoid Twitter or one of the moderators of the Cytoid Discord Server. 		Anything with a Creative Commons license can generally be used.

If permission was obtained, do one or both of the following:
• contact the Cytoid Twitter or a moderator on our Discord Server with proof of permission before uploading the level
• add an image of the proof of permission in the Cytoid Level's description.

Please verify what permissions were given by the copyright holder or original owner of the work(s) used before using it yourself. DMCA AgentFor games: songs that are ported over as a result of a game collaboration, or featured elsewhere officially (e.g. in BMS contests) are fine as long as the collaborating game(s) is also not on the blacklist. However, songs made specifically for collaborations involving the blacklisted game cannot be used.

As a community-based game, many people do not ask for permission before charting a song. Even if what you are charting or intend to chart is not on the blacklist, the Cytoid moderators and/or the copyright holder/original owner still reserve the right to take down a level if necessary.
