I have been teaching tango in Alabama since 2003. I lived in Auburn until 2007 while working at Auburn University on environmental issues related to water quality teaching citizens how to protect their rivers. Back in 2003 I started the Auburn Tango Group, school of tango, which has been running since then. In 2007 I had to return to my home city Rosario, in Argentina. Since that moment I have been returning twice a year to Alabama, to keep alive the tango fire flame. I have been teaching tango also through the AU Outreach Department to the community. I started a new group in Columbus, GA around 2013 and have been teaching in Montgomery and Birmingham for years as an guest instructor to local tango communities. I also teach in Argentina while I am there. Back in 2012 I started the Inclusive Tango School where we work with blind people. I would say this experience changed completely my way of feeling dancing and of course of teaching. Well, I have been teaching for almost 18 years so that there is a lot to say…
