Rasp of Sand is a supper evocative setting - I fell in love with it in my first play but recoganized quickly that the procedural nautre needed a tool to make the setting more useful during a. Create a copy of this workbook for your own use. Please let me know if you spot any errors.

Quick worksheet - will automatically generate slugs, heirs, rooms + situation, encounters, and traps all based on selected level. A few refernces are included for basic turn options, level description, plunge description, reaction roll tabel, etc. When rolling all components will be dynamically generated, so you may want to take some notes before creating a new roll (or not). To roll enter a new value in any blank cell, voila.

Notes on running A Rasp of Sand:
- orginally designed for use w/ Knave which I find a bit "too light" for my liking
- the heir concept / methods is excellent
- surviving heirs to add 1 item to collection of family heirlooms, all others lost
- A Rasp of Sand magic, always allow saving throw vs negative effect
- provide some special description of each spell pearl
- exits from room = # hallways -1
- no traps provided for levels 4 & 5, probably ok, or update to use those from any level, or create your own?
- add some pressure of time into the dungeon, after every hour (i.e. 6 turns), one random encounter will occur in the next hour during a random turn
- Rasp of Sand setting could be used with any core rule set, I did not find Knave particularly satsifying. If using a differnent rule set be sure to rely on the heir stat generation and capacity to gain levels while in the dungeon (i.e. +1 to 3 different stats per level).
