Support our dad after Palisades fire

(Eberlein Family)

https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-our-dad--after-palisades-fire/donate?source=btn_donateHi everyone,

My name is Miya and I am reaching out to our community, friends, and family to ask for help during this extremely difficult time - my dad, like so many others, has lost his home of nearly 15 years in the Palisades fire. The fire not only destroyed his home, but took with it a lifetime of cherished memories, belongings, and the stability he worked so hard to build. While we are grateful he is safe, he now has the daunting task of rebuilding his life from scratch. Every donation will go towards helping him secure temporary housing, replacing essentials, and helping him begin to rebuild his life.

Every contribution, big or small, will help him get back on his feet and move forward. Thank you so much for reading this. Anything helps!

Love,
Miya, Sophia and Mike

Our home wasn’t just a house; it was a place full of love, memories, and special moments. It’s where we celebrated holidays, gathered with loved ones, and built our lives together. The loss has been devastating, and we are doing everything we can to recover and rebuild.

While we know many families are facing similar hardships, I’m reaching out in hopes of providing some relief and support for my family during this incredibly difficult time.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. Your kindness and generosity mean so much to us.

Thank you so much for your support.

She is now looking for a place to rent starting to look for where they are going to live even if it’s for six months to figure out what’s next as her business is in LA....

She is safe at her cousin apartment and grateful that her and Gabe are both safe. The past 24 hours have been focused on canceling everything, rerouting mail , and where will they live.... She applied for FEMA for disaster relief.....

"This is what’s left of our beautiful community! 23 townhomes of a tight nit community have lost everything!
Gabe and I are mentally and physically exhausted
We also have a hard time sleeping
We continue praying for all the communities and families that affected by these tragic events!
Today was Gabes first day getting out to play basketball to feel a little normalcy and joy!"

Photo she sent of the aftermath

She lived in Pacific Palisades. We are both HCL 21. Many of us from the world of transformation have known her as a courageous creative committed leader ...and boy will she get to lean on that over the next few months.... She is always volunteering, supporting others, creating leaders, creating value for people. She had a home in Pacific Palisades....yes I said had...as during the night at 4 am she got word that her house had burn.... All she took when she left was the bare minimum : her laptop, few photos from the wall, and couple of clothes...she did not even took a jacket. So I thought this morning, what is the best way to support her and Gabe ( her son). This is what this go fund me is all about.... It is with a heavy heart and deep gratitude that we turn to you in this time of overwhelming loss. Olatayo Egbewunmi and her beautiful daughter, lovingly called Anj, have unfortunately lost everything they own to the devastating Pacific Palisades fires. They are thankful to be in a safe location; however, the emotional and financial toll of this tragedy has left them struggling to find their footing.

Anj attends St. Monica High School alongside my daughter Kalia. My desire is to help this single mom rebuild her life and give her a little peace of mind.

All donations received will be sent directly to the family so they can restart from scratch and rebuild their lives. Your donation will help immensely towards the basic necessities, housing, clothing, food, and anything else they may need at this very tragic time in their lives. Any donation will help and will be very much appreciated.

Thank you so much for your help.

Support Cornelia After Palisades Firehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-cornelia-rebuild-after-palisades-fire/donate?source=btn_donateIf you are from the palisades and have a pup, chances are you know Cornelia Granath. A community staple, Cornelia can be seen walking at any time of day walking neighborhood dogs, and greeting every house and person on her route. Cornelia is an essential piece of the Palisades and Enchanted community, hosting holiday parties and offering rides to anyone, resident or guest. Everyone knows her as the kindhearted neighbor always attached to at least 3 dog leashes, and she brings a smile to anyone she crosses paths with.

Cornelia lost everything in the Palisades fire, and is starting from scratch. Please help support Cornelia get back on her feet.

We are Cornelia’s neighbors who have grown up seeing her, greeting her, and sharing a community with her for over 20 years. We would love to help Cornelia and show her a little bit of the kindness that she’s shown us for decades.

Help Kayla get back on her feet after LA FIRES
https://gofund.me/37406597My best friend Kayla Loren and her family lost her home during the Los Angeles fires. She is a content creator/filmmaker. She moved back into her childhood home several years ago with the intention of moving out this year, but now is homeless after their house burned down. She had to leave her car behind which is now obliterated by the flames. She lost all of her work belongings including her camera, film equipment, laptop, and so on… Her and her family were forced to evacuate quickly and left nearly all of their personal items behind — things that are irreplaceable like her grandparents’ belongings, childhood videotapes, photographs, and so on… However there are things that are replaceable that we would like to try to get back for her like her equipment, computer, supplies that she spent years to collect, clothes, etc…

Unfortunately there’s no ability for her to generate a source of income at this present time, so we ask for your help to get her back on her feet and replace the items that were lost that are indeed replaceable.
Any help is immensely appreciated.

UPDATE:
Kayla wanted me to tell all of you thank you from the bottom of her heart. She’s so grateful for all of your donations. I have uploaded two of the very few photos she was able to save, photos that were taken in her home she grew up in. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you.

Help Rebuild Julia’s Life After the Pacific Palisades Firehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/rebuild-julias-life-after-the-fire/donate?source=btn_donateMost of you know Julia Kigar. If she didn’t touch you personally, you have probably heard of her and her unique gift of changing people’s lives for the better, her unbridled generosity, kindness, and internal light that could shine through everything. This is Yulia’s family. Yesterday, they lost everything—their home, all clothes, books, kids’ drawings, toys, necessities, blankets, beds, kitchen supplies, sporting equipment, jewelry, family heirlooms, kids’ new Christmas gifts, documents, EVERYTHING. Their house in Pacific Palisades was destroyed, and nothing was insured, unfortunately. They had just 10 minutes to escape the fire, so clothes on their backs and their 4-legged family member Deja is all they got.

But needless to say, the kids need clothes, socks, jackets, shoes, backpacks, blankets, toiletries, basic necessities, etc. The family needs to get new furniture and pots and pans and basic things for their new place—once they figure out where to go from here. If you wanted to help and didn’t know how – this is the perfect opportunity to donate to a good cause. As something is telling me, trees will be planted, and the entire community will prosper.

Thank you all for your support as we rebuild Pacific Palisades, one family at a time.

Help our Uncle Rebuild his Life after the Palisades Fire

(Fariborz Bakhshandeh // MEKSIN Family)
https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-fariborz-rebuild-after-palisades-fire/donate?source=btn_donateHi, my name is Michelle Meskin. Along with my sister, Moriah Meskin, and my cousins, Arta and Haleh Bakshandeh, we’ve created this campaign for our uncle, Fariborz Bakhshandeh. His home of over 30 years and everything inside was tragically destroyed in the recent Palisades Fire.

My uncle and I are very close, and his home has always been a cherished gathering place for our family. He lived there while caring for his mother and creating a life full of warmth and hospitality. The fire not only took his home but also many personal belongings and the tools he relied on to support himself. At 74 years old, my uncle is now facing the enormous challenge of rebuilding his life from scratch without a steady source of income.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping him address immediate and long-term needs that may not be fully covered by disaster assistance programs like FEMA.

Specifically, your generosity will help him:
- Replace essential personal belongings such as clothing, furniture, and basic household items
- Secure temporary housing to provide stability during this difficult time
- Address other unexpected costs that arise as he rebuilds his life

Every dollar raised will be carefully managed to support these efforts, and I will personally ensure that the funds are used as outlined above.

Disclaimer: This fundraiser is intended to provide additional financial support for needs that may fall outside the scope of traditional disaster relief programs, such as FEMA assistance. The funds raised are not intended to duplicate any benefits he may receive from these programs.

Help My Family Rebuild After Fire Loss

(DAMON FAMILY)
https://www.gofundme.com/f/w6nnx-help-my-family-rebuild-after-fire-loss/donate?source=btn_donateLike so many others affected by the recent Palisades Fire, my uncle, aunt and two nieces have tragically lost everything. Their home, their workplace, their school, their income and their beloved community — all are now gone, leaving them to face an uncertain and heartbreaking future. Their tight-knit community has been decimated, and the road to recovery will be long and difficult.
We are reaching out because my family is facing an immediate need for financial support while they navigate this overwhelming loss. While insurance may eventually help, the process will take time.
As many of you know, the community is reeling from the scale of this disaster, and my family is not alone in their pain. We’re asking for your help to make sure they can begin to rebuild their lives as soon as possible. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward supporting my family during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you so much for your generosity.

Help Karen and Fred Clark Rebuild their Family Lifehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-fred-clark-rebuild-after-fire-tragedyKaren and Fred are native Angelenos who grew up on the West side. They met when they both worked at the Pelican’s Nest in Santa Monica. They raised their 2 kids Ben and Carly, in the Pacific Palisades and then Sunset Mesa in Malibu. They have lived in Sunset Mesa for the past 20 years.

They left their house on Tuesday January 7th thinking they’d return home once the evacuation notice was lifted. The devastation of losing your home and all the memory-linked contents is unfathomable. Now they only have what little they brought for what they thought was a few nights stay.

Dealing with insurance companies, FEMA, and the government to get some assistance is a huge task in itself that can go on for years. With all their paperwork burned up in the fires, remembering everything they lost just adds to the sorrow. And of course, they have immediate needs like finding a place to rent, clothing, food and daily essentials. Every donation will go towards helping them transition into their new life.

Fred, who is an environmental engineer for Apex Co. was looking forward to retiring this year. Karen works for a nonprofit (Proxy Parent) that helps the families of Special Needs children. They are both loving and giving people who are active in the community and always there for others. My name is Jane and I am personally writing this because 10 years ago when I was almost killed by a truck while crossing a street in Santa Monica, Karen was there for me 24/7 for the long haul. She took care of me in every way for my 3 year recovery. Knowing I wasn’t alone in my battle made all the difference. Karen, Fred, Ben and Carly are my family. Our kids grew up together like siblings. Its our turn to help them in any way we can.

I know there are many in need from the fires. Any amount will help. Please know that it is not just monetary support, but also emotional support. Knowing that people care in times like these is what helps the healing begin.

Please help the Clarks rebuild their house, their home, and begin their recovery.

Thank you for giving what you can.

We grew up in the Palisades around the corner from Pali High. We moved away but our step dad stayed because Palisades will always be his home.

Dennis has always been a pillar of the Pacific Palisades community, the place he was proud to call home since birth. Known for his generous heart and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, Dennis has been there for his neighbors time and time again.

Tragically, the recent fire has turned his world upside down. Dennis lost everything he owned in the devastation. Now, he faces the daunting task of starting over from scratch.

This community has always been his family, and now he needs our support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help Dennis rebuild his life and regain some sense of normalcy. Together, we can give back to someone who has always been there for us.

The house had been in her mother's family for three generations and was filled with irreplaceable heirlooms, photos, and memories. Tragically, everything is gone. Rose's mother, Beth, grew up in that home. It was not only where she was raised but also where she raised her own children. Beth was diagnosed primary progressive MS and has faced increasing physical limitations over the years. This home was her safe space, a sanctuary where she felt secure despite her challenges. Losing it has been profoundly difficult for her. Beth's daughter, Rose, became a physical therapist inspired by her mother's condition, dedicating her career to helping her mom and others facing similar challenges. Rose's brother, Brian, is currently pursuing his PhD in Earth Sciences at USC, focusing on climate research in hopes of preventing future disasters like the one that took their family home. Their father, John, has lived in Los Angeles his entire life and has always cherished the deep roots their family has in the community. Now, Beth, John, Brian, and their three dogs are all displaced, facing unimaginable loss and uncertainty. They left with little more than the clothes on their backs, never imagining the fire would take everything. In this difficult time, I'm asking for your support to help Rose's family get back on their feet. Donations will go directly towards securing temporary housing, replacing essential belongings, and ensuring they have the basics to get through this challenging period. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us. Let’s come together to help Beth, John, Brian, and their dogs rebuild their lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support.https://gofund.me/b7983d0c16%

Please Help Rebecca and Andrew Recover from Palisades Fire
https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-rebecca-andrew-rebuild-palisades-fire-donateHi, my name is Narcis,
I am reaching out to you for a family whom you may or may not know. Two terrific people, Rebecca and Andrew who have always been there for anyone in need, now need your help.

Their house burned in the Palisades Fire and they lost everything.

This was their dream home where they raised two wonderful children Cooper and Grace. A home, were everyone was always welcomed, a home where they fought for community rights, a home rich with a life time of memories.

A few years ago Rebecca was diagnosed with breast cancer, which was followed by surgery, extensive chemo, and years of uncertainty. A huge trial on its own, but Rebecca and Andrew as always showed their strength and perseverance.

Now they are facing yet another huge heart-ship with this devastating loss on January 7th in the Palisades Fire.

When tragedy like this strikes, we all want to help, but often don’t know how.

Please donate what you can.

This will definitely help them in their first steps toward recovery.

I really appreciate your time and generosity. And I know Rebecca and Andrew will.

Thank you.

Anna, her family, and her home have always proven to be the safe haven of my childhood. They have always shown kindness and grace to strangers and loved ones alike. In the decades the Reger/Nichols family have lived in the Palisades, they have contributed so much to their community. Any contributions or acknowledgements are forever and deeply appreciated.

Funds raised will go directly to the Reger/Nichols family to pay for fire recovery.

Help Julius' Family Rebuild After Devastating Fire (Brendel Family)https://www.gofundme.com/f/donate-to-julius-family-after-devastating-fire/donate?attribution_id=sl%3A2beda706-c222-477a-bfa9-dc5ebd250866&utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link&source=btn_donateI'm Amy Arndt, Julius' sister. I live in Tyler, Texas, and I'm creating this GoFundMe because Julius, his wife Sarah, and their 9-year-old son Cooper lost everything on Wednesday in the fire in Pacific Palisades.

I was an exchange student in Berlin in 1991. Julius' mother Karin took me in when I desperately needed a new host family. Karin selflessly gave up her bedroom, sleeping on the couch in the living room so I could have my own space. Julius was a young boy at the time, just a bit older than Cooper is now. They were my family.

In 2013, Julius moved to Los Angeles with his lovely wife, Sarah. Their son Cooper was born a few years later. They fell in love with Pacific Palisades ten years ago, and have lived there ever since.

On Wednesday, Julius and his family were forced to flee their home after noticing a fire near Cooper's school. They picked Cooper up out of precaution and evacuated shortly after because the fire was moving quickly. They had so little time to prepare that all they could do was grab a bag with their passports and Cooper's favorite stuffed animal.

The fire destroyed their entire home, their beloved surfer van, and all of their possessions. Cooper attended a wonderful school that was also lost in the fire. Most of Cooper's friends' families have lost their homes. They have described it as an apocalyptic scene. Everything they knew just two days ago is gone.

When my husband Tim was dying of cancer last January, Julius, Sarah, and Cooper drove to Austin from LA to be with Tim just weeks before he died. Now, I want to do everything I can to help give back to Julius and his family, who have given so much to me. The best way I know how is to reach out to my incredible community and ask for help, this time for a family who has lost everything.

Worse, though Julius and Sarah are here legally on work visas and their son Cooper is a US citizen, they will not be able to receive U.S. federal assistance due to their status as German citizens. Their renter's insurance will hardly cover living costs for a few weeks.

If you have the means, please give generously to this precious family that I love so very much so that they can start to get back on their feet - they need money for housing and food and the basics for now, but they are starting completely over. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Also: If anyone in the Los Angeles area has a place for the family to stay, preferably a separate living quarter such as a garage apartment or nanny flat, please message me. They are doing their best to provide a sense of normalcy for their young son, though nothing is normal now..

Thank you.

Starting Over After House Burnedhttps://www.spotfund.com/story/4a65b9f7-11e6-42e1-a746-66d74d0e8fe2/donateHi everyone, I’m reaching out because my family is facing something I never thought we’d go through. A fire destroyed my mom’s house—our home. The place where I grew up, made my first memories, and discovered my love for music. Everything is gone. Our instruments, recording equipment, and my studio that I poured so much time and passion into—it’s all gone. Family photos, keepsakes, and the little things that made our house feel like home have turned to ash. While I’m grateful that my family and I are safe, I’m in shock. We’re starting from nothing, and it’s overwhelming to imagine what comes next. I never thought I’d make a page like this, but I don’t know where else to turn. If you’re able to help, even a small amount would mean the world to us as we figure out how to rebuild our lives. Sharing this link would also make a huge difference. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please keep your loved ones close and stay safe. With gratitude, Haydenhttp://spot.fund/9kd2drsc22%

Help Support Debbie Dempsey After Palisades Firehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/support-the-dempseys-after-eaton-palisades-fire/donate?source=btn_donateOn January 7th, our family and community experienced an unimaginable loss…

My mom had to flee her home while it burned, escaping with nothing but her three cats.

In seconds, she lost everything—her home, all of her belongings, including vital items and equipment for her business, Malibu Longevity and Healing Center, in which she built to help others. She had just poured her entire savings into building her home & business. After selling our childhood home in 2023, she was just beginning to rebuild her life. She bought a condo on Tramonto Drive, near the neighborhood where we had made so many beautiful & unforgettable memories in. Just when she was getting back on her feet, the fire took everything from her. She poured her heart and soul into making her new home a place my sister and I could always come home to.

My mom has always been there for others, always giving everything she has to help people heal. Now, she finds herself with nothing and she needs our help.

Every gesture means the world, not only to my mom but to all of us as we work to heal & recover. To those who have also suffered losses, our hearts are with you. We must come together to support one another through this challenging time.

Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help my mom recover from this heartbreaking loss. Every bit of support is deeply appreciated and genuinely truly helps.

Thank you for being a friend in this time of need.

With love,

We are beyond distraut, but happy to be alive. We lost our home and all of our belongings in the Palisades Highlands. Currently living in the only hotel room we could find that is 50 minutes away. :( We do not have extended family to stay with, and will be completely rebuilding our lives from stratch. My mom was not home like the rest of us were because she was at work in the village. I feel terrible because she had so many memories and items from her mom that meant the world to her, and she didn't get the chance to take anything. Same with photo albums etc. I know I am young and will have the chance to rebuild my life, but watching my mom go through this is breaking my heart and I had to find a way to help. We have no idea what the future holds or how we will make it back to west LA. https://gofund.me/b08fa44023%

Help the Benko Family Start Over from the Palisades Firehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-the-benko-family-rebuild-from-the-palisades-fire?attribution_id=sl%3A576cbe36-969e-4a12-ba09-f6fafe053bd9&utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_linkEarlier this week the Benko family lost everything in the devastating wildfires that hit Pacific Palisades and beyond. While they are grateful to be physically safe, they lost their beloved home of 31 years, alongside all belongings, cars and decades of cherished memories. Sheila and Istvan were on a flight when the fires started, and unable to save anything. All they have right now are the clothes packed from the trip.

Sheila and Istvan and their daughters Ciara and Colleen have been valued members of the Pacific Palisades community for more than three decades. And in a moment, their community, home, and every possession they’ve ever owned is gone. The road ahead will be overwhelming, and the Benko’s will be starting from scratch.

We are raising funds to help their family in the wake of this heartbreaking tragedy. Every dollar will go directly to the Benko’s to help with short and long term needs like transportation and day-to-day essentials.

Ciara was the first friend I made in New York City in 2011, and over the years I've been fortunate enough to get to know Sheila, Istvan and Colleen and witness firsthand how supportive, generous and loving their entire family is. This is our chance to pay it forward.

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity to help a family we all love so much who is dealing with unimaginable loss. We appreciate the love and support, and for keeping the Benko’s in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

SUPPORT OUR FRIENDS WHO LOST THEIR TOPANGA CANYON HOMEhttps://www.gofundme.com/f/support-our-friends-who-lost-their-topanga-canyon-home/donate?source=btn_donateHey fam,

Bridge and Mat have lost their Topanga Canyon home to the Palisades fire. As a lifelong friend and former roommate at the Topanga house, it is devastating to witness the loss of the sanctuary that was created over all of these years. So much love was shared and put into the space, let's come together to help them get back on their feet.

Below is a little blurb from Bridge...

“Every morning starts with my gratitude journal, and every entry included “this sanctuary I have the honor of calling home.” I have rented this architectural gem for nearly my entire adult life, moving in at 21 and remaining for a decade plus through such a profound period of personal growth. My lifelong best friend (we met at age 6) and now partner, Mathew, joined me on the mountain after falling in love with Topanga himself.

In truth, I could have remained here for all of my days with empty pockets for the way it filled my heart. To say I was a homebody would be an understatement, I loved every single moment held by my beloved mountain abode. The peace of mind and the sense of self that this space allowed me to cultivate is something that will serve me for all time, including in this abrupt closing of a chapter I would have never chosen to end.”

While there is no way to replace what has been lost, we can make the next chapter a bit smoother with some financial support.

Much love, Steph

Palisades Fire Destroys Tahitian Terrace Mobile Home Park
https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-tahitian-terrace/donate?source=btn_donatehe Tahitian Terrace Mobile Home Park in Pacific Palisades, a peaceful slice of heaven, was entirely destroyed when the devastating Palisades Fire rapidly moved through the park on Tuesday, January 7th. A sanctuary for so many, namely its many elderly residents, now lies in ruins. Here's a video taken by a brave neighbor when the fire took hold, and here's a video of what remains.

For the past five years, I’ve been privileged to have a home in this loving, tight-knit community. It’s a place where kindness thrives, friendships are cherished, and neighbors become family. My heart breaks again and again as I see these incredible people who built their lives here for decades, many of them seniors who poured their hearts and life-savings into their trailers, left with absolutely nothing.

Funds raised will be distributed by our dedicated tenant group to help those most in need cover immediate essentials like food, clothing, and shelter as they take the first steps towards rebuilding their lives. Every dollar donated can make a meaningful difference to help these resilient individuals begin to recover from this unimaginable tragedy.

With appreciation,
Barbara Corcoran

Support a Palisades Fire Victim: Jordan Justis & Familyhttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-jordan-and-his-family-rebuild-after-losing-everything/donate?source=btn_donateHelp Jordan Justis and His Family After Losing Everything in the Fire My best friend Jordan and his family have lost everything in the devastating Palisades fire. Their home, filled with decades of love, memories, and cherished belongings, is gone. I’ve known Jordan since Kindergarten, and their house was more than just a structure—it was his grandparents’ legacy, passed down to his mom, with the hope it would one day be his. Now, that dream has turned to ash. Jordan, his mom, his little brother, their two beloved dogs, and two birds escaped with nothing but the clothes on their backs. The fire took everything else. They’re now left without food, clothing, or even a safe place to call home. While they’re grateful to be alive and have their pets with them, the road ahead is overwhelming, and they can’t face it alone. Jordan is not only a son and a brother—he’s also a teacher at Palisades Charter High School, where he’s made a difference in the lives of so many students. Now he needs our help during this heartbreaking time. Imagine losing everything in an instant—the roof over your head, the memories that made it home, and the future you planned. Jordan and his family are living that nightmare, and they need us to step up and support them. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with others could bring the help they so desperately need. Together, we can bring them hope and show them they’re not alone in this. We were out of town when the fire started, so we couldn't retrieve any of our important documents or one of our cats. Help Rebuild Our Life♥️
THE BARRON FAMILY
Keegan Barron
https://www.gofundme.com/f/sjreg-help-rebuild-our-life/donate?source=btn_donateFor my sweet mama♥️

Beloved friends - in this time of crisis we are more grateful for loving and supporting community than ever. Due to the Palisades fire, my childhood home is now gone forever. The only home I’ve ever really known. I didn’t ever think we’d be here, but the life my mom built and everything important to her has disappeared. Neither of us were home when this happened, so it became impossible to grab anything we wanted or needed, all that’s now disappeared. The memories are irreplaceable, 100% of our belongings and valuables are gone. My mother is stranded with no home, birth records, clothes, or a car. We lost her cameras and her life’s work of photography. If you know my mom, shes not only so special, but an admirable volunteer, who’s continued to put the lives of so many before her. Now, what she needs is for the people around her to do the same, which we are so grateful for. We are trying our best to receive help and support from others. In the face of this disaster, we are counting on community support and the love of the community to build back our life. Thank you - we love you - we love pali. #palistrong♥️

Rising from the Ashes: Help My Mom Rebuild Her Lifehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/rising-from-the-ashes-help-my-mom-rebuild-her-life/donate?source=btn_donateI am reaching out today with a heavy heart, asking for your help. My incredible mom, the most selfless person I know, just got confirmation that she has tragically lost everything the devastating fire that destroyed her home. She has always been the first to lend a hand, to give without hesitation, and to put others before herself. She spent her life caring for others, offering comfort and love, even when she had so little to give. Now, she needs us. The fire took everything—her home, her belongings, and the life she worked so hard to build. She has no form of renters insurance or fire insurance. But through all of this, she remains strong. She has given her heart and soul to others, and it's our turn to give back. Please, if you can, contribute to help my mom start over. No amount is too small, and every penny will go toward helping her rebuild her life from the ground up. I know she would never ask for help herself, but this is our chance to support the woman who has always been there for so many of us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, generosity, and love during this incredibly difficult time. We acknowledge how hard of a time this is for so many in our community and we are sending love to everyone in the Los Angeles area. 💚https://gofund.me/b59b71ba31%

Help Sue and Ken Unmacht Recover After Palisades Firehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-sue-and-ken-unmacht/donate?source=btn_donateMy husband's parents, Ken and Sue Unmacht, 85 yrs old, lost their home of 52 years in the Palisades Fire. This has been an unimaginable loss for them, and Eric has returned to the U.S. to help them navigate the long road ahead. Over the coming weeks and months, they’ll need significant support as they recover their lives.

Sue has faced health challenges in recent years, which complicates their recovery. She has a severe physical disability with very limited walking capacity and use of her arms, and severely constricted breathing at about 30 % capacity in recent months. She needs to use an electric scooter and has had several serious falls resulting in breakage of several ribs, head concussion and impaired vision.

With these health concerns and the sudden loss of their home, we are doing our best to support their immediate needs and any potential future needs. There will be many unforeseen expenses, and we are truly grateful for any contributions to help with their essentials and ongoing care while we work through the insurance process. We are focused on providing them with stability during this difficult time.

Any unused funds will be donated to others in need who have also been impacted by this tragedy.

Any help—whether it’s a donation or sharing this post—means the world to us. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.

Klara, Eric, Summer and Julie

PS - this is version 2 of this - our last one had some trouble but the $900 from that will go to the same place.

not only did we lose our home in the palisades fire, we lost his music studio. two steinways, a bass, a guitar, drums, mics, endless technology he’s invested over the past 30+ years gone. and yet, the only object he’s mentioned grief at having lost is his mothers precious flute.
asking for money feels pedantic. asking for help restoring this husband and father and artists’ ability to speak, to channel beauty and pain and love and transcend darkness — that i can get behind.

Support Portillo Family After Fire Job Losshttps://www.gofundme.com/f/support-portillo-family-after-fire-job-loss/donate?source=btn_donateFor over 17 years, my parents Vilma and Orlando Portillo were contracted by an outside company to do afterschool maintenance for Village School in Pacific Palisades. My father used this extra part-time job to pay for my tuition and family bills, and this was my mother's full-time job. Unfortunately, due to the recent fires, the school was destroyed and my parents have officially lost their part-time jobs due to the contract being terminated. We are a family of 4 and I have created this page to help our family during these difficult times as we do not know what is ahead. What we do know is that we are hard-working people with various skills and are also available to hire for your next event.

We are currently asking for donations to help our family through these tough times. We have never been the type of family to ask for help; we have always been givers, but we have put our arrogance to the side and made this page.

We also ask you to keep us in mind for your next event. My mother can cater food, my sister is a makeup artist, and my father and I do djing and can also do floor waxing and carpet washing. My father is a handyman. We hope through these tough times new opportunities come to our family. We are willing to work and are open for hire. Thank you so much for your time and donations. If you are not able to donate a simple repost would mean the world to us. For any questions or direct messages for hire contact me on Instagram @jay_portillo12 or my sister @0000jay.

Support Tory After LA Fire Takes Everythinghttps://www.gofundme.com/f/support-tory-after-la-fire-takes-everything/donate?attribution_id=sl%3A7d25e920-88fc-4a98-a9dc-fe16ca22688e&utm_campaign=man_sharesheet_dash&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=sms&source=btn_donateOn January 8th 2025 at about 6 in the morning, Victoria “Tory” Franklin’s Malibu home burned to the ground leaving nothing but the brick chimney. Only 1 month before, Tory had to evacuate her home because of the Malibu Franklin fire. In December her home was spared, and in January it was burned to the ground. Tory’s house was built by her parents in 1955; she grew up there and it has been the family home of both her and her sister’s families for the past 70 years. Although every property that was lost in the horrific Palisades fire is a tragedy, Tory’s family property was inherited and she does not have the funds to rebuild, as she has already been struggling to support herself and her 3 grandchildren who are raised by their single mom. Tory is a retired high school teacher, and has not been able to work due to health issues. Tory was able to grab family heirlooms and special items, but absolutely everything else is gone. Tory is a 74 year old cancer survivor and a pillar in her community, especially at her local Malibu church, St. Aidens, and the westside AA community. While Tory will likely receive federal disaster funds, survival tools alone are not enough to rebuild a life. Simple daily things we take for granted like clothes, furniture, and household and kitchen items all make a huge difference in the journey from losing everything to feeling safe and secure. We are praying for every family affected by these LA fires, and we thank you for your support.https://gofund.me/5826874b33%

Our beloved home, where my siblings and I were raised, was lost to the destructive Palisades Fire on Tuesday night. With the fire progressing so quickly and unpredictably, we fled our home with practically nothing. Such a loss is unfathomable— countless sentimental items and a home filled with memories that can never be replaced.

The Massey siblings are organizing this GoFundMe to help our family begin to heal and rebuild. As we know it will take years to return to our home, the funds raised will go directly toward our family’s temporary housing and essential needs during this unpredictable and overwhelming time.

We are safe and thankful to have evacuated in time, but as we prepare to navigate the long and uncertain road ahead we are deeply grateful for anything that you are able to donate.

Our hearts go out to all the other families and individuals affected by the recent fires (Pacific Palisades, Eaton, Kenneth, etc.) and we thank you again for your kind messages and assistance during such an unbelievable and devastating situation."

Support a New Beginning for the Cardenas Familyhttps://www.gofundme.com/f/support-a-new-beginning-for-the-cardenas-family/donate?source=btn_donateMy father Paul, stepmother and 7yr old nephew were evacuated from the Pacific Palisades Tuesday evening. With less than an hour notice they packed a couple bags and left, not knowing if they'd ever again see their home of 30 years where they raised 4 children and a grandson. They came to stay with us that night in Palos Verdes Estates and the following day received the news that their home and virtually everything they owned was completely destroyed by the fires. No one should ever have to experience this but sadly so many have in Los Angeles this week. The outreach and support from our community has been overwhelming and we're incredibly grateful for all the donations, kind words and prayers. With so many people asking to do more, and to help my family in their time of need, here we are... anything at all that you can give will be very much appreciated, and will be making a real difference in the lives they are now beginning to rebuild. 100% of all funds will go directly to Paul & Mabel Cardenas and their grandson (our nephew) Kingston to help with living expenses for the next 1-3 years and eventually if possible to help with the rebuilding of their family home. They, along with many others, have been devastated by the recent Palisades fire, which destroyed everything they knew and loved.

Meg has spent her whole life in the Palisades- growing up attending Pali high, working at local institutions, and raising her daughter.

For years, Meg has been a pillar of Pearl Dragon and the greater Pali community where she not only manages and serves but also makes every person feel like an integral part of her world. She knows everyone by name, remembers their favorite orders, and has a special way of making people feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. Whether it’s a familiar regular or someone new, Meg always goes out of her way to help anyone who needs it.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Meg for years, and I can say without hesitation that she is one of the most kind-hearted, generous, and caring people you will ever meet.

Her generosity knows no bounds. Whether she’s helping a friend in need, supporting a stranger, or taking care of any stray animal that wanders her way- she’s always there to lend a hand. She’s someone who lights up every room she enters, and her kindness has impacted so many of us.

Now, it’s our turn to help her.

Unfortunately, Pali, along with their home, is now gone—reduced to ash. They’ve lost all their personal belongings, their home, and the sense of security that comes from living in a place you’ve grown up in.
In the midst of this heartache, Meg has remained strong for her daughter, doing everything she can to keep her safe and positive. But the road to recovery is long, and they need our support.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and bring a sense of comfort to this amazing mother and daughter.

If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with others would also mean the world to us. Let’s come together and show Meg the kindness and generosity she has given so many of us.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

My name is Lindzey, and I am a friend and student of Ana Netanel in Los Angeles. Ana and her fiancé, Damon Elliott, and their family lost their home in the California fires yesterday.

Everyone that knows Ana or who has had the fortunate experience of being in her presence knows how much joy, love, and kindness Ana always extends to others. She’s made it her life purpose to help people heal and bring an abundance of blessings and miracles into everyone’s lives. She’s made an incredible impact on my life and to all that know her. She helps people be their best selves and does so selflessly. She has been a mentor to me and countless others. An exemplary human being with a heart of gold.

Unfortunately, due to the massive devastation from the fires, Ana and her family have lost everything. Their home burned to the ground, and I’m starting this fundraiser to help them recover and get through this catastrophic loss.

Ana and her fiancé Damon Elliott are incredibly loving and caring humans who always do what they can for others. This is our opportunity to give back to them so they can recover their losses from the wildfires.

Please help lift their spirits and let us surround them with love, support, and faith.

There is a long road ahead of them as they rebuild their lives from scratch, so any support you can provide is much appreciated. They’ve shown love and support to so many family and friends across the Palisades and beyond over the years, and I’d love to see their community come together to show them that same love and support right now when they need it most. Thank you for considering donating and/or sharing this GoFundMe.

Rebuild Lives After Brush Fire Tragedy (Moreno Family)https://www.gofundme.com/f/rebuild-lives-after-brush-fire-tragedy/donate?source=btn_donateHello, my name is Christopher. On January 7th, my family’s life was irrevocably altered. That morning, we began our day as usual, heading to work with plans to return home afterward. However, around 10:30 am, we received alarming news: a brush fire had ignited perilously close to our apartment in Pacific Palisades. I immediately left work, contacting my mother and sister to inform them of the situation. By 11:30 am, we were officially evacuated, uncertain about the fate of our home. As a working-class family, we found ourselves with nothing but the clothes on our backs. While we understand that many others are also affected by this disaster, any donations to help my mother, sister, and me rebuild our lives would be deeply appreciated.https://gofund.me/824aeada35%

Help Michael Rebuild His Life Lost to the Palisades Firehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/michael-rebuild-his-life-lost-to-the-palisades-fire?attribution_id=sl:b6b9fa61-ed95-43fe-b16d-c206550d0e2a&utm_campaign=man_sharesheet_dash&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_linkHello, everyone. Thank you for taking the time to visit this GoFundMe in the midst of the tragedies occurring in the city we call home. My name is Evan and I have just graduated from Palisades Charter High School in 2024. I have lived in the Pacific Palisades my entire life. I am starting this fundraiser for my father.

This will be raising funds for Michael Pick, a 72-year-old Pacific Palisades resident who just lost his home to the Palisades Fire. My father Michael is physically challenged with bad knees and spine problems. He can not drive or walk well. Due to his physical circumstances, he could not pack anything during the evacuation process and he received a late police escort to the hotel he is currently staying in while we effortlessly search for a new home for him. Michael lives alone in an apartment in the Marquez neighborhood that has completely burned down. Everything that he has ever owned was burned and lost in the fire.

The money from this fundraiser will be used for essential living expenses as we work to move my father into a new home. Expenses such as the hotel he is staying in now, medication, food and water, deposits for a new home, and everyday living essentials that have been lost in the fire.

Any sort of donation would be immensely appreciated during these times. If you are not able to donate, we completely understand as everyone we know and love in our beautiful city of the Pacific Palisades is struggling right now. Please spread the word so we can work to reach our goal.

I want everyone to know we are praying for you and you are not in this alone.

Help Holly, Jasmine, Sonia and Ali Rebuild After Firehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-holly-jasmine-sonia-and-ali-rebuild-after-fireMy best friend Holly’s parents, Sonia and Ali, moved to the Palisades area to provide a safe home for their infant daughters: Holly and Jasmine. Ali is a builder and built their home in 2007 using their life savings for their family and children’s future. They oversaw every nail, screw, wall, and tile being placed and installed. This was a home used for all of us, Holly and Jasmine’s friends, family, everyone who needed a place to stay was welcome.

During the fires, they stayed after the mandatory evacuation and tried to put out several brush fires, trees, and fences that were caught on fire until the last minute when they were overcome by the flames and had no choice but to leave. They didn’t spend their time trying to remove their belongings but instead helped their neighbors, meaning that in the end, they had to leave with only the clothes on their backs. These funds will be used for basic needs and will help them rebuild the life that they have lost. This is a devastating time as everyone needs extra support, anything helps.

He lost his home where he and his partner Anna live with their 7 year old son Thomas. All three lost everything. The storage facility where he keeps all of his tools for his work as a carpenter are gone as well, so he currently has no means to continue his work. He and my brother narrowly made it out in time, managing to help their neighbor evacuate as well. Along with all of this, two of his older children, my siblings, who live a few blocks away also lost their home and everything inside. Our family is in complete shock and absolutely devastated at this extreme loss of our family home, but are so grateful for their safety. Anything you can donate to help our family get back on their feet, and begin to heal would mean the world to us. Thank you so much for your continued support. Help Cynthia Rebuild After Palisades Wildfireshttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-cynthia-rebuild-after-palisades-wildfiresHi everyone, I’m reaching out on behalf of my friend, Cynthia, who has experienced a devastating loss due to the Palisades Wildfires. She lost her apartment in the Palisades, belongings, and sense of security in this tragic event. While we’re thankful that she made it out safely, the road ahead to rebuild is overwhelming. Cynthia is a caring physical therapist who has dedicated her career to helping children. She even set up her own physical therapy clinic last year. Unfortunately, for her apartment there’s no renters insurance to soften this blow. To make matters worse, the fire broke out while she was at work, leaving her no chance to go home and collect anything. The funds raised will go directly towards helping Cynthia:
• Secure housing
• Replace essential items like clothing, furniture, and personal belongings
• Cover any unexpected expenses during this difficult time
Every little bit helps, whether it’s $5 or $500. If you’re unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this campaign with your network. Spreading the word can make a huge difference. Thank you so much for your generosity, love, and support. Together, we can help Cynthia restart and show her that she is not alone in this journey.
With gratitude,
Danica

Help Peter and Carol After Palisades Firehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-peter-and-carol-rebuild-after-fire/donate?source=btn_donateHi, my name is Louie, and I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of my parents, Peter and Carol.

On January 7th, my parents were forced to evacuate quickly from their Pacific Palisades home of over 30 years. They only had enough time to grab their pets and the clothes on their backs. Tragically, the home where my sister and I grew up was destroyed in the Palisades Fire, taking with it a lifetime of memories, family photos, heirlooms, and so much more.

This loss has been devastating, and as senior citizens, my parents now face the overwhelming challenges during this difficult time. They have always given so much to others, and now they need support to recover from this tragedy.

Any contribution is deeply appreciated and will help them move forward during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you so much for your generosity!

My name is Molly Baker and I am organizing on behalf of my cousin Hannah, her husband Drew, and their two young babies. This beautiful family just spent years buying this home, renovating it, and building a life for their two babies. In just a few hours, the fire wiped that all away, along with their entire community and all of their belongings as they had to leave quickly with just the clothes on their backs.

Anything helps in this challenging time to get them the support they need to rebuild.

Help the Sunderland Family Rebuild After Firehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-the-sunderland-family-rebuild-after-fire/donate?source=btn_donateHelp the Sunderland Family Rebuild After the Palisades Fire Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers- I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share the story of my Aunt, Allison Sunderland, her daughter Julia, and her son Robert Sunderland, along with his wife Emily Sunderland and their three beautiful children, Teddy, Leo, and Rosie. On January 7, the Sunderland family lost their homes (side by side) and nearly everything they owned in the devastating Palisades Fire. This tragedy has turned their world upside down, leaving them without a place to call home, and with little more than the clothes on their backs. I asked Allison what she grabbed and it was mostly what was in her Yoga bag— if you know Allison you know… she is the most unbelievably generous person I have ever known and to think that she didn’t have time to take anything she loves just shatters my heart. Her sewing machine where she made clothes for everyone, her family photos, her art— it all completely vanished into dust. While they are incredibly strong & resilient, the road ahead will be a long and challenging one. The funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward helping the Sunderland family rebuild their lives and find stability. An extraordinary amount of things were lost, but together we hope to slowly put the pieces back together. If you can find it within your heart to donate any amount, it would mean so much to me and my family— a little bit really does go along way, and we are all in this together. Thank you ❤️ Praying for all families in Palisades.https://gofund.me/19dcd37040%

Help the Hale Family Rebuild After Palisades Firehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-the-hale-family-rebuild-after-fire/donate?source=btn_donateThe Hale Family woke up on January 7, dropped their two older kids off at school, and started their day as a “normal” Tuesday back from winter break. What happened next has devastatingly changed their lives. Ross, Christine, Charlotte (12), Jack (9), Olivia (1), and their dog Reiley and hamster Chestnut, lost their home with everything in it, their school, and their entire community. The fire spread so rapidly that the only thing they were able to save was their pets and their neighbors pets. Photos, glasses needed for seeing, medication, clothing, toys, all mementos- everything is gone. So many memories made in this home they worked so hard for, and so much of the items lost are 40 years of priceless items from memories (scrapbooks, signed wedding surfboard, numerous photo albums, handmade family treasures). However, there are plenty of items and funds for rebuilding we can help with in some way. This family is one of the most positive, outgoing, involved, fun, active, loving, generous group of people you would ever having the pleasure of knowing. They are staying strong and positive for their children, but they need to be shown support in order face the process of rebuilding, recovering, and healing. If you’re lucky enough to get to know this wonderful family, you know how incredibly deserving they are of being shown support. And if you don’t know them, I hope you have the honor of getting to know them someday. Let’s work together to show the Hale Family they’re not alone and that they have a community of people here to hold their hands while they face this tragedy.https://gofund.me/7db79bce41%

Our Home Burned Down in LA fires. Help us Rebuild
https://www.gofundme.com/f/our-home-burned-down-in-la-fires-help-us-rebuild/donate?source=btn_donateHelp Bela, Didier, and Marigold rebuild after the Devastating Palisades Fires.

Please help our family after we lost everything to the LA fires. The fires took everything except for our cars and a few clothing items.

Didier lost all of his DJ equipment, priceless art that his mother painted, and all of his sacred belongings, and Bela lost a majority of her camera equipment and tools that she uses with clients.

their home burned down and took with it everything they worked so hard to build. They moved in 1 month ago and had just finished furnishing the home. All of their belongings, memories from thejr lifetimes, and the investments poured into creating a fresh start are gone. They lost over $300,000 worth of belongings and life treasures, irreplaceable memories, and more, and have to start anew.

This loss is compounded by the fact that D’s father’s home burned down as well, leaving his family with nothing. Not only that but D also bears the weight of financially taking care of his 3 year old daughter who has also lost all of her belongings. They are displaced, and navigating the profound grief of losing so much in such a short time.

As entrepreneurs, this tragedy has also put a strain on their businesses and forced them to pause as they focus on grieving and rebuilding their lives from scratch. While they are determined to rise from this, the weight of this moment is immense, and they cannot do it alone.

For now, we are asking for support to help us begin the process of rebuilding—finding shelter, replacing essential items, and slowly picking up the pieces of everything we’ve lost. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and help ease the burden of this devastating loss.

if either of us, our work, or our love has touched you in some way, we humbly ask for your support. Whether it’s a share or a donation or some other contribution. Every gesture helps.

Thank you for being here with us during this time and for helping us rebuild our lives and find our footing again. We WILL rebuild and find our footing again, but during this time your kindness and generosity means the world.

With love and gratitude,

Bela & D

Help Natasha Sizlo Go Home Againhttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-me-support-natasha-her-kids-after-the-firePlease help me help my sweet friend Natasha Sizlo get back on her feet after the fire and loss of The Little Yellow House. Like so many who have lost their beloved homes and community in Pacific Palisades, she was reluctant to ask for our help. From the deepest part of this mama's heart - I am asking for her! Her home and all of their belongings are gone. She is mom to Margot and Dash, a Certified Grief Specialist and as many may know her, a luxury Real Estate Agent at The Agency and author. Natasha has helped countless clients tuck into their forever homes and even in her own transition, is helping others find housing and soft landing, as I type! This is a helper, that needs our help -- from our grief community and beyond. This will assist in offsetting her rental costs and living expenses as a single Mom and agent whose work relies on commission and a housing market. She has lived in The Palisades for a dozen years and raised her children there (who have lost both Mom, Dad and Aunt's homes). Helping them create home away from home and buy basics as they dig into paperwork and begin to rebuild a sense of safety, is what I hope we can do together. Her book, All Signs Point to Paris, takes place in part right in the heart of the Palisades, at The Little Yellow House she writes about so warmly. Thank you all for your generosity. x, Bhttps://gofund.me/d3a6275949%

Help Delaney Girls Family Recover from Palisades Wildfirehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/aid-delaney-girls-after-palisades-wildfire/donate?source=btn_donateMy name is Fiona Delaney and like so many others, my mom Kathleen, my sister Nina, and I lost our home in Sunset Mesa, Malibu due to the Palisades wildfires on January 7th. This was the home my parents started a life in nearly 30 years ago, the home Nina and I took some of our first steps in, the home I moved back into after college until I got my bearings, the home my mom was supposed to grow old in. It was the anchor we thought we’d always have, and yet it was gone within hours of evacuating. While Nina and I are lucky to have most of our belongings with us, my mom lost everything. And, again, like many others, we’re not sure if rebuilding is in the cards for us—at the moment, it’s beyond uncertain due to a number of factors—which is making it quite hard to grasp just how much we lost. Despite not knowing what the future holds, at the very least I want to help my mom as much as we possibly can right now. My mom operates on a single income and is the hardest working person I know; she has walked down an unbelievable path to get to where she is now, to work for her dreams and to keep this house a home for Nina and I, and I will forever cherish and respect her dedication and the sacrifices she made for us. It crushes me that this fire took nearly all of that away from her. I know we all know so many others in need, but anything helps and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive and kind to our family. We love and appreciate our community so, so much, and hope that everyone stays safe in these devastating times ❤️❤️❤️https://gofund.me/a5229d5e49%

Not even toothbrushes came with them. Jen is a single mom taking care of her three girls totally on her own. She has built a beautiful life for her kids, and that life she has worked so hard for is now on hold, while the fires rage on. She would never ask for help, so I am asking on her behalf. These fires have devastated the Palisades community. Every dollar will go to help Jen and the girls with food, housing, and clothing in the wake of this disasterhttps://gofund.me/dd22b66049%

Help Lisa and Raena Ross Rebuild Their Liveshttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-lisa-and-raena-rebuild-their-lives/donate?source=btn_donateMy name is Alana Cloud-Robinson. Forgive my lack of eloquence at this time, but I'm raising funds on behalf of Lisa Ross and her daughter Raena. They lost their home and everything in it to the Palisades fire. Every memory, every shred of their lives for the past thirty years has been reduced to ash along with the rest of the Palisades. Unfortunately, they weren't able to salvage more than a few articles of clothing, a couple of important papers, and a small selection of photos.

I don't know what to say other than that I spent almost as much time in Lisa's home in the Pacific Palisades as I did my own. I've known her daughter, Lianna, since I was two years old. This home was everything to Lisa, her daughters, and all the friends and family who ever had the privilege of sharing a meal there. This was a place Lisa never envisioned leaving under any circumstances, and the trauma of having it ripped from her is immense. Like the countless others who lost everything in this horrible tragedy, they will need help rebuilding their home.

It would mean the world to Lisa and her family if you shared this far and wide. Every little bit is a tremendous help and no sum is too small.

Sallus -- Support My Family's Recovery from Los Angeles Fireshttps://gofund.me/4120b973In the blink of an eye, my family's entire world was turned upside down. The Pacific Palisades fire destroyed our family home where we have lived for over a decade now—the place where so many of our memories were made. It wasn’t just a house; it was the heart of our family, the dream house my mother worked her entire life to achieve, and the sanctuary that held years of love, laughter, and joy.
Now, we find ourselves displaced, with the whole family and our dog living in a single hotel room, trying to process the enormity of what we’ve lost. The fire took not just our home, but countless irreplaceable treasures including my grandmother’s paintings, the last tangible memories of her life and her creativity, are gone. My father, a musician who poured his soul into his music, lost all his instruments. All family photos, including countless photo albums of my brother and I growing up are now gone forever. Even my car, parked outside the house, has been reduced to a melted shell.
This was the house where I grew up since I was 14—a place filled with the echoes of family celebrations, late-night talks, and shared dreams. My mother, who spent years creating this beautiful home, is beyond devastated. My father, who was looking forward to retiring this year, now faces the heartbreaking reality that he may have to postpone those plans to help us recover.
The weight of this loss is overwhelming, but we are holding onto hope. With your kindness and generosity, we can begin to rebuild. Your donation will help us find stable housing in the short term and take the first steps toward recovery in the long term.
This is a painful chapter in our lives, but with your support, my family can start to turn the page. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings my family closer to finding stability and rebuilding during this time.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your compassion means the world to me.

I am the girlfriend of Henry Dumler. Henry and Brett Dumler have lost their home on 1/8/25 due to the absolutely devastating Palisades fire. Two cars and nearly all possessions are gone. Henry only has about three days worth of clothes at the moment as he was on an internship trip in Dallas, Texas. Brett is in the same situation as well because he was supposed to be in New York for a few days, coinciding with Henry’s trip.

Henry has lost pieces of his mom who passed away about 6 years ago — handwritten notes, crafts, and photos are all gone.

Henry, a dedicated college student at Loyola Marymount University, has nothing left to put in his dorm. He moved everything from his dorm to his house before winter break, per the schools request. The school is taking housing into their own hands, but keep that in your thoughts.

Any and all donations would be much appreciated during this terrible and painful time.

This was like a home to me too.

My world opened up and I've been shining in a different way ever since. Mia is like no other. She is brilliant, kind, adventurous, loving, hilarious, beautiful and I truly feel grateful to call her a friend. She is an incredible woman, mother, friend ....but you probably already know that or you wouldn't be here reading this.

As you are aware LA is suffering from wildfires and sadly Mia and her two children have lost their home. 684. The house that anchored them and the surrounding community that have been an integral part of their lives are now gone. Mia and her family have already lived through and survived tragedy that is truly incomprehensible before losing their home became a reality. They are warriors and will get through this.

Getting through this will be a challenge. A lot of people need help right now and I encourage each of you to give back in a way that feels right to you. Mia is family to me so I am here for as long as she needs to help move her forward. If you have been sent here through a friend of hers, I can assure you, your love, energy, support and donation could not go to a better family. So here we go, This is when we come together to support her, Geoffrey and Annie. Let's do this.

About me and this effort:

My name is Paige Dunn and I am one of her friends. I live with my family in Moraga, California. With the help of all of Mia's friends from Cal we are here to help raise money to help her family rebuild. All funds will go directly to Mia to cover her living costs until (and if) insurance is able to support her.

She's lost EVERYTHING. Diplomas, dishes, clothes, shoes, books, bike, art and all of her supplies-even her beautiful beloved succulent garden have all been destroyed. All she has is a few items grabbed before suddenly being ordered to evacuate. Her whole community has been reduced to ash and rubble. She is traumatized and needs support. I hope that some funds can help bring her relief. She's a hard-working single woman who could use some help. Even $5, $10, $20 donations make a difference. The Steil Family home lost in the Pacific Palisades firehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/the-steil-family-home-lost-in-the-pacific-palisades-fire?attribution_id=sl:e0c3b1ec-f956-4d9f-bc0e-9810ecc27093&utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_linkOur dearest friends, our family in every way that counts, Nicole Fitzgerald and Rick Steil, have suffered an unimaginable loss in the Palisades fire. Their home since 1993, which was not just a house but a sanctuary of love, laughter, and community, is gone. This tragedy has left them without their refuge, their nest, their workplace. For over 40 years, they have been more than friends—they are our chosen family.Nicole made it her mission to empower young women in the community, whether it be finding them a job so that they could support themselves financially, or offering their home as a safe place to stay when life brought them to their knees. Rick, the beloved photography teacher at Pali High, has inspired countless students with his passion, creativity and dedication. Together, Nicole and Rick have always been the warmest, welcoming hearts of every gathering, opening their doors to all with unmatched generosity. I want to acknowledge that there are SO MANY people who have lost everything or been affected by these devastating fires. If we all share our love and resources we can make this just a little easier for more than just one family. Don’t just donate here, donate what you can to as many as you can. No donation is too small, and if you can’t donate please share with your friends, family and community. We can make a real difference for Nicole and Rick and others as they navigate this heartbreaking journey and let them know they are not alone. Your contributions will go directly to covering immediate needs: lodging, travel, clothing, and other essentials during this challenging time. https://gofund.me/d865e5e156%2015

Pacific Palisades Fire: Please Help Robin, Grace, and Jonah (Behar Family)https://www.gofundme.com/f/palisades-fire-please-help-robin-grace-and-jonah/donate?source=btn_donateOn January 7th, our dear friends Robin, Grace, and Jonah lost their home in the Pacific Palisades. The building is still standing, but it’s uninhabitable, and nothing inside could be saved. That terrifying night, they only had enough time to grab a few things before they had to evacuate.

They’ve also lost their beloved community—the place where they built so many memories. The kids’ dad lost his home too, and Gracie’s school, Pali High, was badly damaged and is now closed indefinitely.

We are so grateful they are all safe and want to do everything we can to help them rebuild. Please consider donating to support them during this unimaginably difficult time. Your kindness and generosity can truly make a difference in helping them begin again.

With love and gratitude,

Parents lost everything in Palisades Fire, Please help. Organized by Caroline Shermanhttps://gofund.me/343fc6c8Our names are Caroline Sherman and Katie Sherman and we grew up in the Pacific Palisades. We are raising funds for our parents, who have lost their home and everything they own in the devastating Palisades Fire. After more than 15 years in the Palisades, they now have to start over with nothing. The fire took all of their belongings – their clothes, furniture, cherished art, irreplaceable family photos, and even the plants they treated like kids.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for the Sherman family, and we're doing everything we can to support them as they begin to rebuild their lives. We are starting this GoFundMe to help them with the immediate costs of finding temporary housing, replacing essential items, and eventually finding a new place to call home.

Help the Crosman Family After Losing Everything in Wildfirehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-the-crosman-family-rebuild-after-wildfire/donate?attribution_id=sl%3Ad6a507ad-0ab3-420b-8ea8-62e1ac63eede&utm_campaign=man_sharesheet_dash&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=email&source=btn_donate“Mommy, are we ever going to be able to go back home?” asked Mia, 10 years old, two days after the Palisades Fire had broken out. Her twin sister, Brooke, joined in: “yes, Mommy, we need to go back and rescue Ellie!” Ellie was Brooke’s treasured blue stuffed elephant, which she had loved since she was a baby. Their mother, Alison, didn’t know what to tell her daughters; she knew that the family would never go home, and Ellie was now ash blowing through their once-charming neighborhood.
Thankfully, the Crosman family are safe. That Tuesday had started like any other school day, with Alison and her husband, Chris, attempting to coax Mia and Brooke out of bed and get them to Palisades Elementary School before the bell rang at 7:55. Later that morning, the school called to say they were evacuating all of the children because a wildfire had broken out nearby. “I’m sure everything will be fine, girls,” Chris told them as they drove home under an ominous cloud of smoke billowing from the nearby hillside.
Sadly, everything was not fine. Several hours later, the evacuation order came. The family rushed to throw a few belongings into suitcases and to scoop up their cat, Bowie, who was not pleased to be hustled into her carrier. “Mrowr!” she protested. “It’s ok, Bowie!” said Mia, “we’ll be coming back home in a couple of days!” The family packed into their car as bitter smoke swirled around and embers fell from the sky. The Sun looked like an angry red fireball in the sky. Then the smoke blocked it out, and day turned to twilight. “We need to go now, said Chris, a note of panic edging into his voice. They piled into the car, and they drove off. They waved as they made their way past the brave firefighters rushing towards the inferno. “Please, save our neighborhood,” whispered Brooke.
Unfortunately, the neighborhood was not saved. Block after block, the fire ravaged the town. It destroyed the grocery store, the post office, the library, the shops, everything. The girls’ school, built in 1931, was gutted by flames. The Crosman home was reduced to rubble, and along with it all of the family’s possessions. All of the twins’ toys, their beds, their favorite blankets, their books, the school projects that Alison had been saving since they were in kindergarten, the clay bowls they made in camp, and yes, Ellie the blue stuffed elephant. All gone.
Alison is my sister and we are trying to help her and her family as they struggle to make it through this disaster. They never dreamed they would be homeless, with almost no possessions besides the clothes on their backs. Please help them buy clothing, toiletries, school supplies, books, and other necessities. They need food. They need a place to live. They need kibble and litter for Bowie. And a new blue stuffed elephant. Anything you can spare will help. God bless you.

I am running to raise funds and awareness for myself and those impacted by the devastating Palisades Fire at home. While I push my limits on the course, I’m asking for your support to help the families and communities rebuilding their lives after this tragedy. My family lost our childhood home, our current home, as well as an established family business David Tishbi Jewelry in the Palisasades. Our loss doesn't come close to what some of my friends and community loss in this tragic event. My mother and father decided to come to the Palisades and start a life, a business, and to raise 3 children. Now they are left with no home, no jobs, and have to rebuild a new life. The funds will go directly toward helping my parents replace the essentials my family needs to move forward and get back on their feet as well as towards the community to clean up and rebuild our town. We are facing a crisis like no other, and the pain of watching everything we’ve worked for vanish in a matter of hours is indescribable. Homes are gone, businesses have been destroyed, and the lives of so many have been turned upside down. The road to recovery will be long, and we are in desperate need of your help. The road ahead is uncertain, but I believe in the power of humanity. I believe in the strength of communities coming together, lifting each other up in the face of unimaginable loss. Every donation, every volunteer, every kind word shared will make a difference. Please, don’t let our town fade into the background of another tragedy. Help us rebuild, help us heal, and help us rise from the ashes. We need you now more than ever. Palisades Strong. Palisades Forever. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-my-family-rebuild-after-the-palisades-fire/donate?source=btn_donateI am raising funds to help my family in Los Angeles as the Palisades fire ravages the Pacific Palisades. It’s the house the girls were raised in.The destruction is unfathomable—an entire community has been leveled, a hundred thousand people are displaced and the lives they worked so hard to build have been turned upside down. This is a heartbreaking time for my family and so many others. While we can’t replace everything they’ve lost, we can help them take the first steps toward rebuilding. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly to my family to support their immediate needs—clothing, food, water, temporary housing and eventually help them replace what they’ve lost. Help Sasha and Azmina Rebuild After Palisades Firehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/help-sasha-and-azmina-rebuild-after-palisades-fire?attribution_id=sl%3A348c9bb6-c8f5-4a7a-ab02-0b09d62a42e4&utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_linkOn Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, my dear friends Sasha and his mother, Azmina, lost their home in the devastating 2025 Palisades Fire. The fire spread with terrifying speed, catching even the most experienced locals off guard, and consuming everything in its path. Azmina, who had lived in the area for some 40 years, shared that in all her decades of fire evacuation warnings, she had never evacuated—until that awful day, when their beloved home was destroyed.
This wasn’t just a house—it was a sacred place for so many of us. Sasha and Azmina’s home was full of warmth, love, and memories, a place where everyone felt welcome and cared for. Anyone who was lucky enough to step through its doors holds it in a special place in their heart. It was a truly unique home from an extraordinary family.
Now, they’re facing the unimaginable task of starting over with nothing. This fundraiser will help them cover immediate needs like:
• Temporary Housing: Helping Sasha and Azmina find a safe place to stay while they rebuild;
• Clothing and Essentials: Replacing day-to-day items they lost in the fire;
• Food and Living Expenses: Covering basic necessities during this tough time;
• Rebuilding Costs: Assisting with long-term expenses not covered by insurance;
while also addressing the long-term costs of rebuilding their lives. Insurance may provide some support, but it won’t come close to replacing what they’ve lost.
Sasha and Azmina have given so much to those around them, and now it’s our turn to show up for them. Please consider donating to help them get back on their feet. Every contribution—no matter how small—will make a difference. And if you can’t donate, please share this fundraiser to help spread the word.
Let’s honor the special home and family that meant so much to so many of us by helping them rebuild their lives. Your kindness and generosity will help Sasha and Azmina begin to heal from this profound loss.

My best friend of almost 20 years, Angelica Kechichian, and her mom and aunt lost their home in the Palisades fire. Angelica was born in LA and has lived in the Palisades her whole life. She grew up with a single mom, a trained concert pianist now teacher, and her aunt. She’s been living with her mom and aunt to help support them financially and together they built and designed their home that has been destroyed. I’m so happy they are okay, including their sweet chihuahua puppies Freddie and Archie, but they lost everything. All their clothes, paintings, piano, photos, furniture have been destroyed, nothing was left. There were so many sentimental pieces that have been lost like her grandma’s paintings, bags, and jewelry that were collected throughout her grandma’s life. Items that I know meant so much to her and would remind her of her beloved grandma. Angelica was only able to leave with one outfit, her passport, grandma’s necklace, and her family. Angelica has dedicated her career and life to helping others. When her mom got cancer she was only a kid and took care of her until she went into remission. She is now a certified nurse and has been working nightshift the past year to support her family but is struggling to work right now with the trauma of the fires. All her scrubs were destroyed in the fires as well. This beautiful and courageous Armenian family of strong, independent women inspire me everyday and need your help to bounce back. They need to buy even the simplest stuff like clothes to even start to put the pieces together. Any small donation will help and would mean the world to them. Thank you so much ❤️
