South AfricaSouth Africa ranks 69th among 74 emerging economies. While South Africa has higher productivity than the average emerging country, the nation needs to work on providing better employment opportunities to a larger share of its population. South Africa must work to improve low employment levels, subpar health conditions, and high inequality.2.942.49

South KoreaSouth Korea ranks 16th among 30 advanced economies. Korea struggles with a relatively weak labor productivity which has led to a low median income level. In a more positive light, Korea boast the lowest dependency ratio of all advanced economies and one of the highest adjusted net savings rates.5.092.2
