The rounding introduces some apparent inconsistencies, e.g. `Standard Kart` and `Rally Kart` match each other in displayed speed & handling while using Bowser, but not while using Mario. To account for this, combos where BOTH the character and vehicle are marked with `±` need to be adjusted by -1 speed +1 handling AFTER combining their values. Furthermore, since we are trying to assign display values for each character and vehicle individually here (which, again, is NOT how the game actually works!) we are effectively rounding twice. This is why the assigned `Display` value doesn't always match the substat average (namely with `Funky Dorrie` and `Stellar Sled`), and why the base value needed to arrive at the value displayed ingame is 2, instead of 3. Actual driving behaviour is determined solely by the individual substat corresponding to the surface type currently driven on, so this is a purely visual artifact that can be safely ignored. | ||||||||||
