PURPOSE: To confirm that the horse demonstrates correct basics, and having achieved the thrust required in First Level, now accepts more weight on the hindquarters (collection); moves with an uphill tendency, especially in the medium gaits; and is reliably on the bit. A greater degree of straightness, bending, suppleness, throughness, balance and self-carriage is required than at First LevelRIDER #6124

Looks like this team gets along well and it is a really cool horse!!!! Now need to be focusing on being on the bit especially in the canter tour. Horse must be RELIABLY on the bit at this level.. that means horse must give in the jaw and poll to the hand. Rider to develop effective half halts.. additionally bend to the left was notably a concern. Accuracy is important .. details , straightness and line at this level are expected. sitting required and more impulsion is needed for power for medium gaits which should be balanced uphill. keep going!!! You can do this.. watch the details... :):) concerning the sitting trot: Reference rule DR104.5 .
