|102||Navigation||No "Home" item in navigation structure||Navigation||Even if there's nothing at the home page, users want reassurance they can get anywhere, and get back to where they were. Breaks their model of the site to remove this.||1||Add a Home nav item. |
Make the logo link to the home page.

Value and Usefulness
|103||Navigation||No wayfinding. Cannot tell what section you are in at a glance.||Navigation||Wayfinding is the concept of understanding where you are with cues, landmarks and so on. Here, there is no real way to do this as nothing is highlighted as being current, and page titles do not use the same language.||2||Must highlight the current top level navigation.|
Create a method to indicate the location in the entire structure. If a second, always-visible navigational structure, highlight that. If hover navigation persists, a breadcrumb of some sort may need to be added.
|121||Masthead||The masthead design is very inefficient. Large amounts of whitespace, at best planned for error messages which implies I'll make lots of mistakes||Grid||Username, refund limit and logout are in a weird place. They imply by position they are subsidiary to whatever section I am in.||2||Move these three to above the nav items. |
Make anything clickable underlined so it is clearly clickable.
