This spreasheet is designed to help students estimate potential transfer credit from regionally accredited instiutions in the U.S. to the University of Michigan Dental Hygiene AS-MS in Dental Hygiene Pathway. Note that DH programs may change their credit requirments over the years, your transcript may look different than the lists below.
Official acceptance of transfer credit will be determined upon submission of official transcripts via Common App at time of application to UM.

To be considered for admission to UMDH's
Accelerated Online AS-MS in Dental Hygiene Pathway, applicants must meet the following criteria:
>Hold an associate degree from a
regionally accredited college with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
>Have graduated from a
CODA accredited dental hygiene program
>Hold a current dental hygiene license for practice in the United States
>Hold a current local anesthesia and nitrous oxide license
>If English is your second language, submit a recent iBT TOEFL exam score

>Have 84 transferable credits (60 Dental Hygiene specific + 24 general education). Gen. ed. credits must be from regionally accredited institutions in the U.S.

Prospective students are encouraged to apply up to one year prior to desired enrollment year.
