Welcome to the CUPE 3903 Remediation Wages Calculator
3
This unofficial calculator is designed to help you estimate the remediation wages you should have received as a member of CUPE 3903. Unfortunately, we now know that York is not making this easy for us.
4
5
90% of salary that would have been earned completing the Winter Term should mean exactly that.
6
7
Essentially, HR took your original contract, multiplied it by 90% and subtracted what you were already paid.

If you had a Winter only contract, you received 2 months wages of your 4 month contract, so 90%-50% = 40% and 40% of your contract = 80% of Wages for March and April

If you had a Fall/Winter contract, you received 6 months wages of your 8 month contract, so 90%-75% = 15% and 15% of your contract = 60% of Wages for March and April
8
9
Now that we have our outstanding "10%" remediation wages being posted to HR Self Serve, we can get a better idea of whether or not York is upholding their end of the agreement.
10
11
This calculator was developed to provide a more concrete understanding of the remediation wages we've received to date. No guarantees are made about its accuracy, but every attempt has been made to verify the calculations below against real wage data.
