IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER, PLEASE READ: Cloth and other homemade masks DO NOT provide the same level of protection against COVID-19 as properly fitted N95 masks. CDC Guidelines state that homemade masks can be used in crisis situations when no other masks are available. They may be somewhat effective against droplets/saliva. They are minimally effective in blocking airborne virus particles, but are generally better than no mask at all. Healthcare facilities and workers should take all possible steps to obtain and use certified N95 masks and surgical masks before resorting to the use of cloth/homemade masks. The volunteers who created this resource list make no claims as to the safety of any mask offered through the list and cannot be held liable as a result of any harm caused by the use of masks obtained through this list.
