Between X & C
Enter working trot rising.

Medium walk.
Straightness on centerline and in transition; clear trot and walk rhythm.6.56.5fairly straight to start but the right rein was shorter and neck got slightly to the right.. at that point the pony began to resist and went above the bit.. moral of the story.. be more soft with right rein and be sure neck is straight and remains even

Balance and bend in turn. Quality of transition.6.56.5fairly straight to start but the right rein was shorter and neck got slightly to the right.. at that point the pony began to resist and went above the bit.. moral of the story.. be more soft with right rein and be sure neck is straight and reins even

3ACircle right 20 meters, working trot rising.Roundness and size of circle; clear trot rhythm and bend.66rider began to lose clear posting at the beginning of the circle.. posting became "hoverlike".. must maintain a clear beat for the horse to stay regular in tempo and impulsion / too much arch in the lower back for this rider. in posting emphasis the "up" not the down. at the moment rider is focused on DOWN
13
4K-X-MChange rein.Clear trot rhythm and straightness on diagonal; bend through corners.6.56.5reins could be one inch longer and the hand closer to the saddle.. arm is too far forward and elbow getting straight. put the hand near the ponies saddle pad just in front of the saddle and hands very close together to improve elasticity and arm independence / horse fairly steady

what beautiful pony and a well matched team! this rider needs to get her hands back towards the very front of the saddle, just above the saddle pad. Must have some elbow bend. look up do not lean back but do not lean forward... :):) . work to improve your slight chair seat-- get thighs down and back so calves will fall into position under seat. this is a lovely pony.. if you have an instructor talk to them about how to lunge a horse with side reins... this should only be learned with correct supervision but this horse has potential and needs to be rounder.. so it is one of the easiest ways to remind a pony to stay round if it already is trained or it can be trained. if this pony has not been lunged in side reins then a professional needs to be training it if you will use this method. while riding lots of tranistions and corredct circles will help a pony and rider become more balanced.
