This is a list of known (and some unknown) valid OBD2 PIDs for the Chevrolet Bolt, useful for creating
2
custom dashboards, pre-emptive monitoring, monitoring a lot more energy details, logging, and more!
3
Scroll down for suggestions, adapters, and installation instructions
4
5
OBD-II PIDs are "on-board diagnostics parameter IDs", where we can pull very low level data and
6
statistics from the car to create custom dashboards that we can see on our phones/tablets, and
7
log for future reference.
8
9
Here's a half decent primer on OBD2 if you have no idea what I'm talking about.
10
11
This list is very much a work-in-progress, and a collaboration, so please feel free to comment with
12
your changes and credit will be given. Primarily maintained by Sean Graham (obd@wackyland.net)
13
14
The "Updated" timestamp in the "Usable PIDs" sheet can be used to see what has changed since the last time you looked.
15
The "Notes" column is a description, best that I can tell.
16
Temperatures are left in C, as (at least) Torque can auto-convert for you.
17
18

PREFIXES
40
41
The !?*+ prefixes are so that they are distinguished from the scanner-built-in codes, and
42
to affect sort order, so that things are grouped together usefully.
43
44
! are the most imporant PIDs, easiest to add and log this way
45
* are the remaining set
46
? are the unknowns
47
+ are the Battery Cell voltages
48
49
LOGGING
50
51
As we are still trying to determine as much as possible about the PIDs of the Bolt, if you are
52
comfortable with doing so, please log as much as possible and contact Sean to share your logs!
53
(especially while charging)
