I did an inhouse "email" training this year for my work group so have the 365 outlook and Teams done. Since the training I have been using Forms and Planner in conjunction with SharePoint (so even a SharePoint component?) Microsoft 365 just has a lot of things out there that are making Records Management easier to share with others and easier for folks in the field to use that maybe do not sit behind a desk, so could be a cool topic to explore, don't know that I want to do it on my own though.Tara Bell (I am working on moving our shared drives into SharePoint and completely restructuring our SharePoint site intranet)tmbell@umich.edu

Lots of projects, few successes? In this case study learn how one agency used ARMA's IG Maturity Model to assess their current risks, define agency-wide goals and build a roadmap to transformational IG practices. Using gauges for an aviation themed presentation learn how we were able to "move the needle" to more stable RIM and IG programs and practices agency-wide. Discussion of solutions for metrics, tracking, setting goals, strategic roadmaps, and collaborate with key resources across the organization.

In-person, mail, e-mail, phone calls, texts, instant messaging, the cloud--it can lead to information overload. We've all experienced it--we find ourselves in a position where it can be nearly impossible to "turn off" at the end of the workday, let alone filter the endless stream of information. So how can we, as RIM professionals, provide the training and tools to help our colleagues navigate this complex new way of working?

I will also touch on the theme of how I used methods from archives and libraries to help boost our records management. Does anyone else have a similar case study that we can group together?

Rebekah Davis (Limestone County (AL) Archives)rebekah.davis@limestonecounty-al.govLeveraging COVID relief funds for records managment projectsThe Investing in Alabama Counties program allows participating counties to use American Relief Act funds for, among other things, digitizing county government records during the FY2022 year. I will discuss how the Limestone County Archives is claiming our small share of the $19.2 million allotted to our county and using those funds to digitize and provide access to public records. I would love for others to join me in dicussing how to find what COVID relief funds are available for government records programs, how to apply for the funds, and how to prioritize the work.

While we've been able to use our knowledge of how NARA works in our new roles, we've had quite a few obstacles to overcome; for example, "what is this data management of which you speak?" and "what is quillwort?" Have any of you made the leap to records management from archives or another field? Our shared experiences, insights, and suggestions for others who might consider pivoting to a different field could make a great panel.

I think it would be great if we could have presentations from all levels of government. I have the perspective of implementing it on a local level. I think it could be great to have presentations from a Bureau Records Officer and an FRC and/or NARA employee as well. Even though this is very federal-gov specific, I think other types of government would find it informative if they're thinking of implementing a similar requirement in the future.

Is there information you want to transfer to a more accessible format but don't know where to start? How would you go about determining if this is a project that can be done in-house or will it require external help? These are the types of questions that we will be answering in this presentation. Have you already started or completed a project to rescue information from obsolete formats? If so, I would love to have you share your experience as part of this session.
