93Modified plot of the myth of Hades and Persephone. Wonwoo (Hades) instantly falls in love with Dino (Persephone) when he finds the latter in the meadow that he tends to. The story progresses similarly to the myth where Wonwoo steals Dino into the underworld and Dino is made to live there until Seokmin? (Demeter) finds him. While there, Dino is visibly upset and sad, so Wonwoo tries his best to cheer him up by bringing him pieces of the mortal world to the underworld. Except everything Wonwoo touches dies, most especially the flowers in the meadow that he originally found Dino in. Progressively, Wonwoo becomes frustrated that all his efforts are for naught, feeling self-hatred and guilt for bringing Dino down into the underworld where he is unhappy, so different from how he first met the younger. Meanwhile, Dino slowly opens his eyes to all of Wonwoo's efforts to make him happy in spite of his status as the God of the Underworld. Somewhere in the mix, love blossoms and Dino begins to feel happier in the Underworld with Wonwoo. Until Seokmin eventually finds him and begs him to return to the world above where he believes Dino belongs. Unable to truly part from his newfound love, Dino willingly consumes the pomegranate seeds as a promise to always return to Wonwoo, the man who could never bring him flowers but allowed love to blossom inside him.Dino/WonwooLots of fluff and ANGST, preferably a happy ending, Demeter can be anyone but I put Seokmin there as a buffer because Seokchan!!!NO SAD ENDING NO SAD ENDING NO SAD ENDINGAnyThe story can be from anyone's perspective!
