PURPOSE: Tests confirm that the horse is supple and moves freely forward in a clear steady rhythm, accepting light contact with the bit. The horse demonstrates greater understanding of the aids and calm acceptance of the bridle; greater emphasis is placed on relaxation, harmony, rideability and pure gaits. The horse is beginning to develop more impulsion and balance.RIDER #8656-1

6.56.5lovely geometry but horse on 4hand__ poll below withers and face behind vertical, relax elbows allow neck and poll to come up, when poll is below withers horse is on 4 hand.poll to be highest point. additionally when the poll goes down and face goes behind vertical.. horse also drops his shoulders. allow poll to be highest point. do not worry so much about being on the bit ( causing poll low) .. be in Balance.....

maintaining balance and tempo; smooth,
willing release and retake of the reins; size
and shape of circle with inside bend;
regularity of the jogs
6212tempio changed and horses face went behind the vertical i.e. 'curling". if you can post.. I suggest it to you to try.. the horse should not speed up that is an indicator of loss of balance. Horse needs to stretch out and down to bascule the back and to improve back bascule/suppleness and the quality of the jog should improve . Poll was below withers for a long time after C ( indicates horse is on the 4 hand: needs poll to be above withers )

2ImpulsionDesire to move forward with suppleness of the back and steady tempo.77needs to take weight behind and show more supple back , short tracking today some in the jog
31
3Rider’s Position, Seat, and HandsWell-balanced elastic seat demonstrating vertical, centered alignment, with light independent contact from hand(s)77hands to be more following , elastic and lower for the lope portion
32
4Rider’s Correct and Effective Use of the AidsEvidenced by the horse's responsiveness; steady elastic connection cultivating athletic expression. Accuracy - precise placement of the figures and transitions, the effectiveness of the rider's aids determines the accurate fulfillment of the required movements of the tests6.56.5the free flowing performance today/ balance in lope
33
5HarmonyThe horse accepts the aids and influence of the rider with attention, relaxation and confidence; and demonstrates a willing partnership between horse and rider resulting in a free flowing performance7214this horse is willing to be soft and giving to the bridle.. I really appreciate that. the balance on the forehand to hampered free flowing performance at times
34
this horse is amazingly willing to be round to the connection. Be very very careful to be elastic and allow the horse to be correctly balanced with poll as the highest point in the loop. today the poll was dropping, neck short and face behind vertical .. contact from hand appeared to retract. Balance is the key to free flowing performance and the development of coiming collection. Power which is the impulsion is necessary in the jog and lope in order to have something to "collect".
