Westfield Dog Bark FriendsRun completely by volunteers. They work with the parks and Rec Department. One member from the group of volunteers is the liason between the two groups. Trails border the park so folks can hike with their dogs. Again, this is a dog park that was established within a park. Essentially a chain linked fenced area. They also have a page for volunteers: www.westfielddogbark.com They seem to have lots of fund raising events. Their hope is that the dog park will be used for adoption events, community K-9 events and public service presentations.

East Longmeadow
2/3 acre for big dogs. 1/3 acre for small dogsPublic - but dogs must register and have a tag to enter. Registration is yearly and is free. Though a donation is "suggested" when registering your dog. Volunteer run/rely 100 % on donationsBags, trash, water, benches, dog ramps, tunnels, wood chips, hand sanitizer.www.elbarkpark.com
East Longmeadow Bark Park
Two fenced areas: one for big dogs and one for small dogs. Dogs must register before they can use the dog park. The gateway where you first enter with your dog is screened from view so a new dog isn't swaremd by other dogs when first entering. Nice idea.
