This scholarship provides up to $1,500 per quarter, every quarter, toward eligible associate degrees, certificates, or apprenticeships at eligible community or technical colleges.

Closed10/17/2025WSU Pullman Regents ScholarsWSU Pullman is looking for community leaders, academic innovators, and committed scholars. Must have a 3.8 or higher GPA and submit a resume showing community, civic, and co-curricular involvement. Two levels of award:Two WHS seniors are guaranteed to be awarded $4000 for year one and it is renewable each year for a total possible award of $16,000. If you are selected, you will also be considered for the Distinguished Award which is full tuition for four years. To apply, students must complete the attached Google Form. Washougal High School counselors and the career specialist will review all submissions and nominate two students for this program. The deadline to complete the Google Form is October 17th at 3:00 PM. This ensures that counselors and the career specialist have sufficient time to review all applications thoroughly and submit nominations by the WSU Regent Scholar Program deadline.

Closed10/28/2025Chick-fil-A Community ScholarsThrough the Chick-fil-A™ Community Scholars program, Chick-fil-A, Inc. helps pay for the education of leaders in our communities who want to continue learning, while also investing in their leadership development. Every year, up to thirteen (13) $25,000 scholarships are awarded to students based on academic success, community service and financial need. The Chick-fil-A Community Scholars also participate in the Chick-fil-A Scholars Program, a one-year engagement that includes mentoring and leadership development alongside our Chick-fil-A $25k Remarkable Futures Scholars.

The Voice of Democracy audio-essay program, initiated by the VFW, provides a remarkable platform for high school students (grades 9-12) to express their thoughts on democratic and patriotic themes through recorded essays.

Closed11/02/2025"Haz La U" (Make the U)Colgate partnership with Hispanic Heritage Foundation and part of the Foundation's Youth Awards, they sponsor the "Haz La U" college grand porgram for high school seniors. Students who focus on academic excellence, who are dedicated to service in their community, and demonstrate leadership skills can receive one of 31 grants with Colgate providing $100,000 in total support.

Closed11/02/202527th Annual Hispanic Heritage Youth AwardsThe Youth Awards was founded in 1998 by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. Now entering its 27th year, the Youth Awards honors high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community and for their excellence in various categories, including: Community Service, Engineering, Green Sustainability, and Technology.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze recipients are selected in each category and receive a one-time grant to fund their college education or to fund a community service effort that tackles a social issue, and then one national Awardee is selected in each of the categories.

Closed11/12/2025Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student ScholarshipHigh school seniors, must be a US Citizen, does not need to be related to a member of the Elks. 500 four-year scholarships awarded to highest-rated applicants. Male and female students compete separately. Top 20 finalist will compete for two $50,000 awards, two $40,000, and two $30,000 awards. Remaining top 14 finalists receive $20,000. The 480 runners-up receive $4000.

Each award is intended to cover a significant share of the student’s educational experience – including tuition, living expenses, books and required fees. Awards vary by individual, based on the cost of tuition as well as other grants or scholarships they may receive.

Open12/01/2025Visionary ScholarshipThe American College DOudnation's Visionary Scholarship provides a one-time, non-renewable award of $1,000 to $5,000 for high school students. The scholarship goes towards the student's first year of college.

Open12/1/2025Hagan Scholarship FoundationThe Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides $2,000 to help pay for essential items to attend college and up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Free workshops, Free Schwab Brokerage Accounts, and Free Study Abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum. Hagan Scholars have attended 745 colleges and universities located in 50 states and the District of Columbia and have studied abroad in 58 countries.

Open12/12/2025US Air Force ROTC ScholarshipRequirements: SAT composite 1240 or ACT composite 26, GPA of 3.0 or higher, US Citizen, or obtain US citizenship if receive offer. Must be pass Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board medical exam. If scholarship is awarded you must accept and sign an agreement with the United States Air Force. Three different types of scholarships available.

Open12/16/2025Burger King ScholarsAll High school seniors or Burger King employees are eligible to apply. Only 50,000 applicants allowed to apply, so do not wait. Most scholarships are $1000, amount determined by funds available and amount of applicants. Selection criteria includes: academic achievements, participation in school and community activities; and if BK employee, length of employment, work experience and financial information (not required to be employee to apply).

SC&RF Vocational/Technical ScholarshipThe Vo/Tech Scholarships are awarded to individuals who are pursuing a career in the Crane, Rigging and Specialized Transport industry. Courses or training can range from one day to several semesters. Awards typically range from $500 – $5,000. Recipients are not required to be employed by an SC&RA member company.
