2IMPULSION (Desire to move forward; elasticity of the steps; suppleness of the back; engagement of the hindquarters)6212encourage increased push and power from hind legs especially in canter
37
3SUBMISSION (Willing cooperation; harmony; attention and confidence; acceptance of bit and aids; straightness; lightness of forehand and ease of movements)6212willing horse but needs increased straightness in the LY and balance from HQ in down transitions and in the canter
38
4RIDER’S POSITION AND SEAT (Alignment; posture; stability; weight placement; following mechanics of the gaits)616work to keep lower leg more under you so that you stay upright and balanced to help horse come up through his back rather than pushing down against him

5RIDER’S CORRECT AND EFFECTIVE USE OF AIDS (Clarity; subtlety; independence; accuracy of test)6.516.5
40
Capable pair with lovely moments. Increase the power from the hind leg and stay more balanced over him to help with his balance. Maintain straightness in the LYs- use your outside aids a bit stronger to help keep him from falling through the outside. Encourage increased ground cover in lengthenings- be bold but use 1/2 halts to keep him from falling onto the forehand and running. Work on balance in transitions-esp up and down canter! Keep horse straighter on the outside rein- don't overbend. Well done.
