Senior Center CafeteriaThis club is open to anyone. We bring awareness to mental health, suicide, and treating each other with respect and kindness. Meets on 'A' days during Eagle Block. Some activities, such as training and conferences, are held during the school day.

American Sign Language (ASL) ClubMrs. Lerch626"NEW! ASL Club! The Club is open to all ASL levels and experience. Students will learn how to sign the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem and explore interpreting songs! We will also be going beyond what we are learning in the classroom and grow in the understanding of Deaf culture. This is a great opportunity to learn and continue your exposure to ASL! I hope to see you there!

Art ClubMrs. Rivera245Art Club is an after school club where students who are interested in art can work on artwork and learn about different art materials. Students are able to work on their own art projects or projects for their classes. Sometimes there are fun group activities as well! Art supplies will be provided and also students can bring in their own supplies.

Art Honor SocietyMrs. Ruvolo246This club is for students passionate about art and eager to connect with other talented artists. The club will meet during Eagle Block as we explore the possibility of establishing a National Art Honor Society (NAHS) chapter at our school, offering opportunities for national recognition, scholarships, and leadership. Together, students will look to build a creative community and plan exciting projects that make a difference!

Asian American Alliance ClubTBDThis club provides a forum for interested students to discuss issues relevant to the Asian-American community, advocate causes affecting Asian-Americans, and celebrate the diverse cultures that make-up Asian-American communities. The club typically meets one Eagle Block per cycle.

BandMr. Tanzos322 /343Students who play a brass/woodwind/percussion instrument are welcome to join band. The marching band rehearses as an after school activity; the concert band practices during block3, on BDF days. Members are required to attend performances on each group.

TBDBecome a mentor to students at the Intermediate School! Only juniors and seniors with their own form of transportation from NAHS to NAIS are eligible to participate. Beyond our own NAHS meetings here, mentors will visit NAIS once a month and serve as role models. They will help with classwork, engage in discussions, participate in projects, and more.

Chief Science Officers (CSO)Ms. Paukovitch354The Chief Science Officer or CSO initiative is a first-of-its-kind program where students serve as their school’s liaison for STEM and innovation. CSOs are part of a cohort of student leaders who experience special leadership training, impact STEM opportunities at their sites and in their local communities, and work as a collective cabinet to give input and ideas to adult STEM leaders in their region. The program seeks to inspire student and community STEM awareness and encourage the pursuit of STEM education and careers, ultimately building a strong 21st century workforce.

ChorusMrs. Rocchi322Students who sing (or would like to learn how to sing) are welcome to join chorus. Concert Choir meets during block 3 on BDF Days. Once a student is scheduled into Concert Choir, they are then eligible to audition for Cantus, Crescendudes, or NoteWorthy. Students may also audition for Nightingales (select treble choir) which meets during block 3 on ACE days.

Classics ClubMr. Rauch350In the classics club, students will read and review a wide variety of classics. They will also be able to share their passion for classic literature by presenting pieces of their own choosing and discussing them with fellow peers who are interested in learning about the subject. The club will meet during Eagle Block.

Color guardMr. Tanzos322 /343Members of the colorguard perform along with the high schoo marching band at games, parades, and competitions in the fall. In the winter and spring months, the colorguard competes in indorr guard competitions, culminating in the Atlantic Coast Championships, held in Wildwood, NJ.

Comet Yearbook Mrs. Gerhard259Comet yearbook is a course that is designed for students who are interested in utilizing their creative abilities, computer skills, communication skills, and language skills to write copy, to compose layouts, to take photographs, to complete sales, and to work as a team to meet deadlines. Class size is limited therefore students are encouraged to take the Introduction to Yearbook course and/or to submit an application for approval to be selected for the course.

Fashion Forward ClubMrs. Durner381In this club, the students take a real world issue and create a costume surrounding that theme."Fashion Forward" is the new name they came up with for the sustainable fashion club. It is a club where students work in teams to design fashions out of recycled materials. The goal is to create a wearable sustainable fashion design that will be submitted to the "Junk Kouture" competition in the spring. We will meet 1 time per cycle.

This team will make films, educate in the process of making films, and build a community of artists who can work together. This is an all-year team. The group is open to any 9-12 graders who wish to volunteer their time in order to better the lives of others. We are always looking for new members who want to help others and have fun!

Recycling ClubMr. Cressman620Recycling Club is a group of students that go around the school and pick up the recycling. We both ensure that materials get recycled and use the materials for art projects that promote awareness of single use plastics and their longevity. Two such project examples include:
1) Our temporary exhibition last year that inspired people to think: "What is our legacy?"
2) Upcycling plastic six (cleaned plastics from the cafeteria) to create shrinky dinks; we offered this activity at the Sunshine Superbowl last year and had over 45 creations. We meet on E days during Eagle Block.

AT NAHS we participate in local oportunities such as the Nazareth Food Bank, orgainze fundraising car wash at Red Robin Nazareth, and create Christmas cards for the soldiers.
