25 | Food: includes bringing a meal for about 16 men ready to eat at 7pm. We have no kitchen so please bring it ready to eat in disposable containers. Please include beverage. Note, numbers vary, so you can check with The shelter manager to get a closer estimate. | |||||||||
26 | Welcome: is the shift that greets the guests as they come in and make sure they are registered and have a signed copy of the rules. The shelter manager or a trained volunteer will be there to open the shelter and review rules & regs with the volunteers every evening. This shift is from 5:30 to 9:00 and includes the meal and time for showers and preparing beds. | |||||||||
27 | Overnight: is from 9:00 pm until 6:30 am, lights out is at 10:00 or before sometimes, and we wake them up at 5:30am with coffee ready, the men must be out of the shelter by 6:30am. (Supervisors are expected to remain awake through the night as the men sleep) | |||||||||
