Is this the true Hepburn Method?
There are a number of articles floating around the Internet that describe various metholodies employed by Doug Hepburn. While the articles differ slightly, a consistent theme is that Hepburn believed in maintaining a consistent weight for a training cycle and continually increasing the volume throughout the progression of the program. Should you run the Power and Pump phases simultaneously?
In his later years, Hepburn recommended burning out on the Power Phase before switching to Pump Phase. Burning out usually meant completing 3 or 4 cycles of a Power Phase. Originally, though, he would do them all in the same workout.
